How is a 50-50 split a lowball? You're just mad those fighters couldn't be tricked by the Brits and believe in self determination not being an employee

[QUOTE=AdonisCreed;19561865]I see what's going on here. I think Bob is going to have Whyte challenge Wilder for the title if Wilder successfully defends the belt against Brezeale. THEN if Whyte beats Wilder it'll be Fury vs Whyte in the UK which will be a huge fight and Bob will keep that belt in house. But if Wilder defeats Whyte it'll finally set up the long awaited rematch of Fury and Wilder next year in 2020.

I like your theory ........due to the fact that wilderquackus and Company with the help of the WeBeCorrupt (WBC) have been avoiding The Villain for a while to the point of skipping him as a mandatory

Could happen , that's all any of us can do is discuss and debate in this modern day circus of boxing and deep pockets . Not to mention the real lack of high end heavyweight talent available ..

Wilder needs to leave PBC. Far bigger and better fights elsewhere. What are his Heavyweight options? Ancient Ortiz again?

Joshua has Usyk and is the A side of the division. Fury, Whyte, Parker, Pulev all aligned to Top Rank.

Is it for a $100mil deal? No, I am only kidding. However, it does seem that Dillian Whyte is more on a fast track of getting his title shot at Deontay Wilder's WBC heavyweight crown faster than Tyson Fury.

It's because if he wins his lawsuit/appeal against the WBC, then the fight goes a to a purse bid. Therefore, if he wins then he will become Wilder's mandatory opponent after Dominic Breazeale; If there is no Joshua vs Wilder undisputed heavyweight championship fight.

One thing about Haymon is he’s the king of in house fights.
When you've got most of the fighters that matter, fighting a good fight is usually in-house lol.

Arum has Fury, Arum has Jennings, Arum has a co-deal for Pulev, a co-deal with Parker, and Rivas has fought on his platform.

Let's see what fight Arum puts forward first, lol.

Stop hating hearn and look at values and numbers.
... Hearn offered him 4m; whether that was pounds or dollars, it's still short.

Now, who is Whyte going to fight on ESPN+ to justify $4m? Who knows.

Still, Dillian Whyte was built, by Eddie Hearn no less, to be seen as this star of some level, and Whyte went with it.

Whyte and Joshua were supposed to hold hands, own the show together, pay Hearn his 20% after costs, and then split everything else 85/15 Joshua to 80/20 Joshua. Whatever the pay on that was, the terms were clear and Joshua/Hearn didn't want to go for it, so Whyte moved on.

right. Washington Spzilka a shot Arreola. Those are major names. Don’t forget Arum has Rivas too.

Plus who said they are done signing? Maybe they get Wilder and Ortiz too

Arum is getting content for ESPN+, so that he doesn't look like a punk when it comes time to negotiate the next deal with UFC kicking his ass in every area and Top Rank Boxing underdelivering in basically every area (ratings on ESPN channels, conversions to ESPN+ that tune into boxing, PPV numbers, etc).

In a similar way to Fox Sports paying PBC that $60m per year, for 4 years, deal as a way to get fights for FOX but largely as the way to get quality content and quality live content to fill out the sports offering on FS1 (with PBC so far consistently delivering better numbers than the UFC content drew on FOX/FS1, and PBC also giving FOX a significant chunk of the PPV business, expect the value of the next deal to go up, too).

Quality sports content is key right now; and some will reach for not so quality content if needed.
