Thanks, but honestly I never mind paying for a PPV, especially this one involving two of my favorite fighters. I was just pissed I was told I could only order the PPV through foxsports.com and couldn't order it through DirecTV.

The fighters will get a bigger piece of the pie I'd assume + it gives them more ability to lower PPV prices in the future. Granted it might be hard to put the genie back in the bottle with prices but the fighters getting a bigger piece might offset that for many fans.

And coulda just been a sh^tty agent on his first day to or something like that & not a malicious lie.

I rather just order it through DirecTV. While I'm sure the app will work just fine, you still get occasional freeze. If I'm ordering that sh^t for $75 bucks, I want to be sure there will be no technical difficulties or anything lol.

Could just be the rep didn't know the deal with this fight as it is the first PBC PPV on FOX. But I made sure to ask three different times and I got the same answer. Whatever, he/she could have just made a mistake, but what pissed me off was when I was trying to get refunded, they were being extremely difficult. And then the supervisor tried to tell me you left the chat satisfied by being able to watch it on your Roku device. I told her sure, Roku over streaming on the laptop is better, but it still wasn't my first preference and the rep misled me to this purchase and then she finally refunded me.

I didn't think of it that way in the sense the fighters get more money if we order through the website compared to the cable distributor.

To be honest I think the last PPV fight I cared about was Golovkin-Canelo I (I didn't care one bit about the re-match) and I don't think I'll be watching this one either.

Yeah. I usually get them with couple friends just for something to do and hang out eat, drink etc. Haha. Just can't get up for this fight whatsoever. Watch it be the greatest fight ever fought now lol

Same. All my closest friends are big fight fights and watch them all and for this one everyone has said nah no interest. Ill be out at the bars and if a bar has it cool if not cool. Just can’t justify making any plans or going out of the way even slightly for it.

Update, was able to order it on DirecTV but damn is it so much harder now than it was before. I had to use the live chat feature and have one of the agents order it for me through there. The ****** AT&T and DirecTV merger has killed the website and it is so hard to navigate now. Not only that, but when you call DirecTV, you are really talking to an AT&T rep who isn't all that familiar with DirecTV and they just drag things on far too long.
