So the author says that Canelo's wins against Miguel Cotto and JCC Jr were impressive. I don't think so. I thought Cotto won that fight. And JCC Jr was weight-drained, and barely threw punches to make the bout competitive.

Keep in mind that Oscar called the shots on that fight with him and Floyd because he was the A-side. Floyd did call the shots with Cotto but Cotto did have some leverage as Floyd was going to prison and an expected bout with Manny fell through with some blaming Floyd for those failed talks.
