Fury is obviously levels above Ortiz and Povetkin is better too.

who brags and hangs their hat on going the distance but losing? Dude is basically saying he is a 10 rounder for hire if a fighter is looking to get some rounds in

Christian is going to feel the full force of the hammer that the LDBC will rain down upon him. Hammer is going to get FROZEN OUT, of something somwhere. Ofcourse the rest of us already knew that Ortiz was no boogeyman and as much as Wilder fans were desperate to see Ortiz face Joshua the rest of us wouldnt of minded it at all but feel that Joshua has already beaten better.

Hammer showed counter rights really is Ortiz kryptonite . Had he have more power Ortiz would maybe been in trouble. Joshua would have target practice and Ortiz being southpaw wouldn't do him favors for that AJ counter right which is a real hammer. Ortiz showed he's on the decline even weighing his best weight . It's safe to say even Wilder may have a far easier time in the rematch against a guy that nearly beat him a year ago on this day .

Even Joppy went 12 rnds with Hopkins, if you're in relatively decent shape and come to "survive" you can fool yourself into thinking you actually came to fight and to talk about it like you did. Not one round was there any desire to "win."....He's the type of dude that gets a kick out of trying to impress people with the "he wasn't that intimidating, I've faced better fighters" talk. They come a dime a dozen.

Seriously! He ran from one corner to the next! He's happy because he went 12 rounds with a 40 year old man, and HE STILL LOST! If we can't get Wilder vs. Ortiz II, then I want Ortiz vs. Kownacki!

He clearly didn't run. He wasn't going to walk straight onto Ortiz's shots but it wasn't a running performance, Hammer boxed mainly off the back foot but did plant his feet plenty. He also landed a hell of a lot on Ortiz.

See Hughie Fury v Parker for heavyweight running. Fighting off the back foot isn't running. Hammer doesn't have the foot speed or reflexes to run anyway.

Clear signs of Ortiz being past it and or just had a bad night!

Surprised Ortiz didn’t counter the right hand with his own right hand!

Anyways, this is the type of performance Ortiz needed to get the other top heavyweights to fight him, so hopefully they do and he gets the paydays he deserves!

Shame we never got to see a Prime Ortiz in the pro’s!

If Hammer had serious power Ortiz would have been on the floor last night. I know he was but it looked more like a headbutt.
