Shirley is from the arum school of advisors

this guy is probably making millions per wilder fight

He has just said he won’t let our fighter go to anyone else, he is meant to be looking out for wilder and make him the most money

He already got this fool to fight for 7m for fury when he could have made more than double vs Joshua

Now he is not letting wilder go to fight for 15m on dazn and will make him fight for less than half on showtime

Wilder will become his own boss one day ditching this leach but will lose millions in the process

He is being milked like Pac-Man was with arum

He is just as bad. He was all in with Wilder going on about being a free agent and that the other big boys are now stuck in a corner but at the same time he openly admits he isnt going to let his fighter go to other networks to try win all the belts and make more money. Even though it would also benefit Finkel a massive amount too.

Finkel is just Haymons puppet and is making decisions based on whats best for Haymon and not Wilder, luckily for them Wilder is very dumb and very gullible and will believe what ever those people tell him and is too ****** to realize he is being sold short, getting underpaid, under promoted and could be getting better elsewhere.

Im just interested to see if Haymon and Finkel are willing to pay 15million or more for Wilder v Breazeale. I feel they actually will and make a big financial loss just to save face. If they can only pay him 5 or 6 million when Hearn was offering 15 plus 2 huge Joshua fights they are all going to look like fools. And they can try tell us its not about the money this that and the other but they are STILL going to look like fools.

In a way I don't blame Shelly Finkel because ESPN and DAZN are trying hard to steal his fighter. Ever since Wilder announced to thaboxing voice that he was a network free agent they are all coming out of the wood works after him now. They want that Green belt fighting on their networks.

Therefore, the various platforms are willing to work with Deontay Wilder not to help him but to hurt his team with Fox and CBS because they are rivals and competitors. They would like to cut them out completely and deal exclusively with Wilder but Wilder's team are not going to allow that to happen.

            Nice spin, Furies!

"You kinda figured that the Tyson Fury to Top Rank/ESPN deal didn’t fall from the sky out of nowhere, that it took a little while at least to put together.

Deontay Wilder helped clarify that lingering query a bit when on Friday he went on the Randy and Gerry Sirius show, and talked about Fury blowing off the rematch that had already been made.

”We knew Fury wasn’t gonna take this fight,” said the Alabama-based athlete. “You know, we got to a certain point in time when they were stalling about signing the contract that was already set a week ago. When he was stalling from signing that, we knew something was wrong. We knew it was the problem where (Fury promoter) Frank (Warren) wasn’t answering his phone anymore. You know it wasn’t no reason for him not to answer. We knew something was up.

“Fury had his face in the contract for a week to get a rematch on. That was a 50/50 deal. So you know nothing was wrong with the contract, that everything was good. But Fury did not want to fight me. Fury signed the ESPN deal to run away from me. You can’t go nowhere. Well where he gonna go? He’s not a champion. He didn’t win the fight.”

The WBC heavyweight titlist spoke on his options.

“I’m the champion of America. And all these guys get in deals is based off of the potential of fighting me. If I don’t get Tyson Fury again, I say **** him then. If you don’t want to fight, I got to fight someone else. If I keep this attitude up, ESPN is going to be very hurt, you know, because Fury is a boring fighter. Only he got good is his mouth. The only reason people laugh is because they laugh at him and not with him because he has a British accent coming over here in this country. That’s it. Other than that he’s a very, very boring fighter. People will not deal with it, especially not over here in America.”

Deontay Wilder’s co-manager gives his take on why the negotiations to stage a rematch fell apart.

Hahaha! Sounds like Wilder is being smart. He's basically saying that he's not going to sign over to ESPN and Top Rank knowing they're just running, and if they duck his prime he may just blacklist Fury like he did Joshua, and let them take the loss on the contract as punishment.

            LOL #BOMBZZQUAAAD!

Get ready for some really boring fights, Fury fans!

I'll be over here watching the Bronze Bomber do a Heavyweight-championship KO highlight reel for the next couple years. Much better entertainment!

Finkel is just a figure head. He has no real influence. He's a puppet. The man who is really in charge and wields the most power and influence in Team Wilder is Al Haymon. He's under a lot of pressure with both Fox and CBS to provide the best boxing content he has to offer.

If Wilder was to bail out by jumping ship over to DAZN, Haymon will be in a lot of trouble with the sports programming executives at both Fox and CBS; Especially with Stephen Espinoza because they have signed exclusive deals with him to provide them with their best fighters.

How would it look to CBS and Fox watching one of their best fighters in the PBC stable fighting on a rival platform like DAZN or even ESPN? They wouldn't like it. Not even a little; So it's Haymon job to do everything in his power in order to persuade Deontay Wilder not to go over to DAZN alone.

Ye that comment was really revealing. a mangers job is to get their client the best deal not work in the interests of a network or 'advisor' over their client. Wilder doesnt come across as someone in charge of his affairs, this, having multiple managers at the same time, Not clear who to contract to make fights, not wanting to meet with promoters, never discussing deals with other networks, all of it points to wilder being in one of those slave contracts he keeps talking about.
