Lara is not the same fighter. Alot of people didn't like his previous style where he moved around, but that's what is was great at. He's not that same fighter. And he has to resort to what he's not great at. He's still a top fighter, but not the same fighter who fought against Canelo.

This is an example of having pre-notion thoughts going into the fight and trying to defend it by saying something crazy like this. Awful decision? No f'n way was that an awful decision. It was actually the right decision. Both fighters had their moments and it was super competitive.

I judge based on clean effective punching. Castano did almost none of that. Lara got robbed.

I mean I could definitely see Lara getting a close decision win, but to say this was an awful decision and the worst of the year? GTFOH with that crap. But before the fight he was saying Lara would dominate and out class Castano in a 10-2 type of decision. So he had those thoughts going into the fight.

But in reality, this was a super close fight with the best verdict possible. Neither really pulled away from the other and it was just a good scrap all around. Not sure if they run it back, but definitely wouldn't mind a rematch!
