The Challenge is can Jacobs beat Canelo on the IBF rule?! The same rule he ditched against GGG.

The doubt falls on Jacobs, not Canelo. DAZN forced this fight. Any boxing fan that roots for Danny having forfeited the IBF strap while wanting GGG’s others straps yet complaining about Canelo now DKSAB and is a hypocrite.
I'm not clear regarding your post that you are aware that for unification fights the IBF presently has no such rule.

Nothing to spin other than Jacobs gave the IBF the finger with GGG remember?

You must have missed my many points in this thread where I said the same thing.

Perhaps you weren’t clear that Jacobs gave the finger to the IBF with Golovkin.

No I saw that he gave up the belt. As a Golovkin fan I wasn't angry. I was more disgusted with Golovkin's management dropping the ball yet again. In a statement several weeks before the fight Jacobs stated he would do anything to win the fight. I guess he wasn't kidding. LOL...

what happened now? where did i say that? fielding prob came in at 180 plus and rocky fielding is a god damn champion. canelo went in there and said "i know yo are the champ and you will probably kill me with your huge size but i'm going for it!" and he somehow won. now he wants to limit jacobs size after dealing with goliath? it makes no sense

Should we believe that DAZN favors GBP over Matchroom and therefore Hearn had to finally sneak-leak their insecurities closer to the fight?

Danny took the opportunity to ditch the IBF and instead attempt Gennady’s WBA Super and WBC. You don’t think the IBF took offense to that?

That move alone, with Jacobs vs Devrenyanchenko, is Jacobs still acknowledging that the IBF rule book is “wrong?”

Canelo is simply putting Jacobs’s own IBF rule to challenge? Don’t you find that interesting how GBP vs Hearn. Gotta admite GBP move. If it wasn’t for any straps or the IBF’s rule not existing then it’d be a different thing.
lots of people agree to things they dont want to agree to for money. that doesnt make it right. also why doesnt jacobs just skip this weigh in as well? because the fight could get cancelled where against ggg the only thing bad that could happen is he loses the belt which he doesnt care about. he cares about the money. its called monetary pressure. it would be like the patriots saying you know what we wont play unless there is snow on the ground. and the other side says well ok its the only way we can get paid. does that make it right cause they agreed to it?

Remember that Jacobs nor GGG wanted to meet. GGG already had the WBA Super. For Jacobs it was a win win situation. The WBA forced GGG to fight Jacobs after the Brook stunt, and we remember the WBA didn’t sanction GGG vs Brook.

Jacobs knows he’s too big for 160. He looks bigger than Truax and Eubank Jr. even when they fight at 168. Jacobs looks bigger than Plant as well. GBP know exactly what they are doing. GBP has to produce DAZN’s request and justification for Canelo’s big deal, so Hearn and Oscar were both pressured.

Are you a Loma fan? Loma agreed to fight Rigo not exceeding 140lbs on the morning of the fight. Loma didn’t have to fight Rigo... let’s be honest, don’t you think deep inside Jacobs knows he’s bigger, accepting the IBF rule even though it’s a non stipulation for unification?

In the end it all plays out. Many Canelo haters understand this and don’t want to accept it. I mean FFS Pacquiao was a catchweight King. How many fans asked like if it was “right?”

The only reason Jacobs is getting this fight is because he has a belt the only reason the ibf changed the rule in unification is because of what Jacobs did in the ggg fight it was a smart move to fine Jacobs or have the fight threatened if he didn't weigh in or come over canelo was in a similar situation before with cotto he used the wbc belt as leverage in negotiations but after the weigh in he refused to pay his sanction fees and dropped the belt leaving canelo fighting for a vacant belt

Jacobs announcing his no weigh in with GGG is not even comparable since Jacobs vs Canelo agreed to all terms since December. When Jacobs’ news about not doing the GGG morning weighin was how many days away from the fight?
