Technically it’s a pseudo IBF move. Canelo’s camp is simply exercising the IBF rule book on a unification. Jacobs would never be able to go against this because he wouldn’t be dumb enough to make a headline that he has to do something that he already does. The Challenge is can Jacobs beat Canelo on the IBF rule?! The same rule he ditched against GGG.

The doubt falls on Jacobs, not Canelo. DAZN forced this fight. Any boxing fan that roots for Danny having forfeited the IBF strap while wanting GGG’s others straps yet complaining about Canelo now DKSAB and is a hypocrite.

No I saw that he gave up the belt. As a Golovkin fan I wasn't angry. I was more disgusted with Golovkin's management dropping the ball yet again. In a statement several weeks before the fight Jacobs stated he would do anything to win the fight. I guess he wasn't kidding. LOL...

Remember that Jacobs nor GGG wanted to meet. GGG already had the WBA Super. For Jacobs it was a win win situation. The WBA forced GGG to fight Jacobs after the Brook stunt, and we remember the WBA didn’t sanction GGG vs Brook.

Jacobs knows he’s too big for 160. He looks bigger than Truax and Eubank Jr. even when they fight at 168. Jacobs looks bigger than Plant as well. GBP know exactly what they are doing. GBP has to produce DAZN’s request and justification for Canelo’s big deal, so Hearn and Oscar were both pressured.

Are you a Loma fan? Loma agreed to fight Rigo not exceeding 140lbs on the morning of the fight. Loma didn’t have to fight Rigo... let’s be honest, don’t you think deep inside Jacobs knows he’s bigger, accepting the IBF rule even though it’s a non stipulation for unification?
