The IBF cannot impose their rule over another organization, the WBC and WBA. But since Danny didn’t care for the IBF title against GGG was disgraceful. Danny’s Regular WBA wasn’t “unifying” with a main belt that he didn’t even want...

Therefore, May 5 is Team Canelo-GGG, “Mexican Style!”

apparently canelo did it and lied about it but thats nothing new. i dont know why a guy who just fought at 168 is so worried. if you can survive rocky fielding you can survive anything

Team Canelo-GGG is May and September. Mexican style supersedes Brooklyn style. You can’t ditch an IBF rule for a title fight. Was Danny expecting to walk away with a Win content without a strap? That’s Title fight blasphemy! It came back to bite, and Canelo doing the right thing hooking up GGG for that one. It will be like Micky Ward at Gatti’s corner against Floyd.

Rocky's big dumb ass kneeling in front of Canelo still cracks me up. They were almost eye to eye.

Technically it’s a pseudo IBF move. Canelo’s camp is simply exercising the IBF rule book on a unification. Jacobs would never be able to go against this because he wouldn’t be dumb enough to make a headline that he has to do something that he already does. The doubt falls on Jacobs, not Canelo. DAZN forced this fight. Any boxing fan that roots for Danny having forfeited the IBF strap while wanting GGG’s others straps yet complaining about Canelo now DKSAB and is a hypocrite.
