I don't mind the Ortiz rematch, but i think everything depends on the WBC mandatory. Hopefully Wilder would be interested in the undisputed fight after that. If him and his team does not express any interest after that then i would have to conclude they are ducking Joshua not wanting to lose the only bargaining chip that they have (The belt).

Let’s be honest, Breazeale followed by Kownacki would suck. Joshua actually seems to want the fight now and if he doesn’t want Joshua he should at least go for Whyte.

I get that the purse for fighting Breazeale will be chump change compared to what he wants, but Wilder can't keep avoiding his mandatory's to fight whichever opponent he'll get the most money for. At some point the WBC will have to put their foot down and say "fight your mandatory challenger or lose your title" - so many other champ's have not been given anywhere near as much leeway that Wilder's had before being stripped.

Hearn/DAZN will pay Wilder 15m for his mandatory with Breazeale as long as he fights Joshua after that.

Lets hope... although I think DAZN will have more luck negotiating with Finkel if Hearn's not involved - those 2 really don't seem to play well together.

But they did try to force Canelo to fight GGG, causing ginger nuts to dump his belt before coming back a couple of years later when he was ready. It makes you wonder why they seem to give some of their champs more leeway than others.
