The clear explanation is that he is doing a Don King job on his not-very-intelligent cash cow and he knows that Joshua will destroy Wilder.
Wilder is happy to go along with the instructions of "WHATEVER YOU DO DEONTAY DONT ANSWER THE F%$#@ING PHONE" because he knows as well that he's beaten.
Probably because he kept insulting him in interviews or because Finkel already met Barry Hearn and Eddie spoken with Al Haymon to get clarifications on the offer
I mean how many sit downs do these people want they're like that girl that wants to go out and eat for the free meal
Finkel would have to disclose BT involvement or he wouldn't not have documented paper work for that meeting as he was stalling at this time maybe waiting on.Warren? All this was done to avoid a Wilder fight or have Wilder to commit to one. The offer would have been declined then and there and then they would resume negotiations .
People forget the tactics Finkel used wasted months of everyones time including the dopes on here supporting Wilder.
To his credit, Hearn made the first contact and I remember him complaining about who to talk to saying Wilder has like five managers.
Hearn was frustrated.
Finkel didn't have balls to take the lead.
He couldn't decide on his own without consulting the other managers.
That's what I got from it.
Frustration resulted in Hearn's name calling.
He felt disrespected and not taken seriously.
Can you blame Hearn?
