I keep saying it but nobody wants to listen , Mexican boxers ain't what they used to be. Barrera and morales fought their asses off against each other with passion. As did Vasquez and Marquez. This pu$$y s*** about not wanting to fight another Mexican is soft. You don't have to get it. You're not Mexican so you'll never understand where Canelo is coming from.
Different cultures and nationalities see things differently so unless you're Mexican you won't understand or agree with why Canelo feels the way he does...
He's not afraid of Munguia but I can definitely understand why he feels the way he does.

I don't know.....I've never heard an American fighter say he wouldn't want to fight another American fighter. I never heard a black fighter say he wouldn't fight another black fighter. Morales and Barrera hated each other, regardless of their shared Mexican heritage. What is this krap Canelo is saying? It's ridiculous. Some of the best fights ever were Mexican vs. Mexican.

Floyd literally said he didn't like fighting against another black man lol. Look at all his opponents in between berto & Mosely. During that time Ward, Paul Williams Thurman Porter etc were all calling for a shot.

OHH and they will.Im not a HUGE Canelo fan partly because of the PED issue and also his help from judges.But you HAVE TO give it to the kid when it comes to his opponents.I remember really respecting him when he chose to fight Trout and then Lara.Those are two guys NOBODY wanted to fight at time(southpaw and skills)kinda like Ortiz and Fury for Wilder even if you win ALMOST impossible to look good with.And then he signs to fight GGG even though he did let him age a bit 1st.And now DJ who is clearly the next best after GGG or at least most proven.The kid's got ba lls not just in ring but at the negotiating table where sooooooooo many do not.And as far as Munguia he is made to order for Canelo(or anyone with good boxing skills and decent size)so he def is not ducking him.But he does got this whole "not boxing Mexicans" thing all wrong. All Mexican fans care about is good fights and they love seeing them fight each other.Barrera v Morales,Marquez v Vazquez Zarete vs Zamora ect.
