got to give props to kovalev and golovkin

those dudes had legit gripes that they could have been given the decision in their first fights with ward and canelo respectively

they went back at it ASAP......their fans never had to say "kovalev don't owe ward nothin" or "lil g don't owe canelo nothin"

can u imagine a kovalev fan post kov/ward 1 "kovalev is the unbeaten 175 champ and top 5 p4p he don't need to prove anything to anyone we know he won and he don't owe ward squat"

then again...neither kovalev or canelo almost had their heads detached from their necks and were staring up at lights on their backs.....so maybe that's why they weren't so afraid

And kovalev and golovkin both got cheated again in the rematches (at the very least they were controversial) so maybe fury has got the right idea

it really would have been a shame to see fury get stopped a few minutes after it looked like he wanted to quit....or get his face lit up for 12 rounds and then run out of the ring before giving in interview with bruises all over his mug

fury made the right decision...im guessing he watched those fights and saw the pain and humiliation suffered by those guys and decided he wanted to wait a lil while

you know whats hilarious? you claim to know me...to know who you are talking to

but if you did youd know I don't go out of my way to bash kovalev...I don't bash loma....I don't bash usyk.....you would know this if you paid attention or really knew who you were talking to....but as usual you don't know **** about anything

I still have respect for kovalev....I like loma...I like usyk and other EE's...the only one ive ever continually bashed is golovkin because he deserves it

and I'm not bashing either guy here...they went right for the rematch ASAP....they didn't turn out well for them but thats just life....they wanted it and tried

youre like the type of guy that will say something like "parker only blamed AJ cause he lost to AJ and hes jealous"....then when someone points out Ortiz also blamed AJ youd be like "oh well thats cause he lost to wilder and wants to make himself look better"

you really are a grade A dunce

Kovalev really wasn't a draw nor did he have other attractive money making options and the robbery took his titles away. Golovkin's money fight was Canelo and he'd have been taking a significant pay cut fighting someone else. Fury didn't lose any status with the win and he wasn't robbed of a title since he doesn't have a title.

Fury has a guarantee now where his minimum payday will more than double what he got from Wilder and his biggest payday and biggest challenge is Joshua without question. He's the only heavyweight ranked above him currently. Fury has beaten Wilder once whilst still very early into his comeback/dramatic weight loss and he got totally ripped off so there's logic in him taking far better money than again fighting against the judges in the guy he just beat back yard.

Fury vs. Joshua is the top two in the division and Fury at least would make far more money facing Joshua than Wilder who he's already beaten and has to always go to his back yard.

One, LA was hardly Wilder's backyard. Yes, it happened in the states but Alabama to LA is damn near a whole another world. Two, Fury is now a US based fighter with his TR deal so where do you think the Wilder rematch is going to take place? Even Warren said it makes more financial sense to do it stateside than the UK.

What does AJ have to do with any of this? Calling a fighter names shows you are very immature if you're not trolling or joking once...you do it all the time and I only see you criticising European fighters. End of story...this thread is one big backhanded compliment and also used to bash another European fighter. Coincidence? Probably not...I smell an agenda

Good point. Questions were asked of the judges in both those fights. The fighters knew they wouldn't get a fair shake of the stick but they had no other big money fights on offer so went into the rematch.

Fury wasn't given a fair deal by the judges either, but had big money offers elsewhere so didn't have to dance to their tune again.
