Comments Thread For: Shields: Me, Hammer Fighting, Unlike Ali-Wolfe, Martin-Rijker

NEW YORK Claressa Shields hopes fans of women's boxing at least appreciate the willingness she and Christina Hammer have shown. Unlike rivalries from an earlier era, the two best female middleweights in boxing have agree to determine 160-pound supremacy in the ring. That, Shields says, separates them from their predecessors as they head toward their 10-round title unification fight April 13 at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

She absolutely didn’t say “unlike Ali-Wolfe and Martin-Rijker” that sounds like a dig. Nice headline though. Funny you tried to blast Ali for her weight against Martin I wonder why lol I’m almost certain had it been the other way around it would not have even been mentioned

Cause it's the truth! You're the only one making it about race here. Ali was alot bigger than Martin..
It was a complete mismatch from the get-go.. That's a fact!

I agree. But it's not Martin complaining, it's the reporter. So why you gotta make it about race???
He's just stating facts, what's so bad about that??

I hope I don't see a post from you on here complaining about Canelo and his team putting a rehydration clause on Jacob's contract...

what does Canelo have to do with this lol? Am I missing something you keep implying things that have absolutely nothing to do with my post.
Jacobs deserves it for trying to fight at a weight he’s too big for.
