Just cause Chavez was Mexican an Taylor was black doesn't mean this fight is gonna be like that one. Hate when people compare fighters or fights going off of their ethnicities. Jacobs doesn't have the quick hands or throw the fast combinations Taylor did and Canelo isn't the pressure volume puncher Chavez was so how the hell is this fight going to b like that one?

Yeah Ive never seen Chavez take off multiple rounds like Canelo does in fights??

It’s not even a diss towards Canelo because almost every fighter will take their foot off the gas sometime in a fight or get frustrated when things aren’t going as planned and ease up to gather themselves

But Chavez to me seemed just seemed to say f.uck it , losing wasnt even a option to him and he was willing to take whatever from whoever to do what he needed to do and get the W. It’s f.ucking rare to fight like that but thats why he’s a ATG because he was the guy willing to do whatever will over skill( obviously super skilled) refuse to lose until the jobs done.

Which is f.ucking a bad a.ss way to fight , and that’s why he’s Straight G status and when I went to Mexico City he had murals in the street because he was the man. And people recognize that.

Why do fans like you get so defensive when a promoter compares his fighter to a fighter of the past??

I personally see a difference between promoting a fight and saying logical things like, I expect it to be a great fight, this is the best fight that can be made at mw right now, it's a 50/50 type of fight where either guy can win by ko or decision. And then there's being full of s*** and taking boxing fans for idiots, which is what Oscar does by making dumb comments over and over again... Like predicting the fight to be the equivalent to an all time classic when the fighters involved have completely different styles to what he's comparing them to.
