    ...
Let’s not act like what he was doing was in any way conventional.

Casual fans don’t look at Boxrec nor have registered a profile there to know that registered members can see the official weights they had. Go look at and see how many fights Angulo, Lara and Kirkland had above 155 before facing Canelo. The ask yourself, how come those fighters weren’t campaigning at 160?

It common for fans to regurgitate what others write without knowing the truth and thus creates false narratives against a fighter.
Why does that matter? They should have either gotten their asses in shape or moved up too. Catch weights happen all the time, but they’re not exactly common for championship fights between fighters who campaign at the same weight class.

The IBF rule that they made after GGG/Jacobs skipped the second day weighin for the weight advantage is still in effect. Jacobs threw the IBF title in the trash because he wanted to get the weight advantage. Danny still got dropped, without that weight advantage he might have not gotten up. At least now it will be a level playing field where both fighters weigh in at the same time, so I have no problem with this Canelo rule for the second day weighin

There's an interview with Canelo on fight hype today where he says, he doesn't know who implemented the rehydration clause and then his translator tried to cover it up and say it was the ibf. All bulls***, it was clearly golden boy which jacobs confirms in another interview.

IBF waives the clause during unification. Golden Boy put the clause in the contract.

So if Jacobs says fk it and doesn’t weigh in then what?

But people used to say Canelo weighed more than Jacobs.

I thought he still does??? And he's bigger than Jacobs also.

Not surprising. There cash cow. He got them to do his dirty work. I’ve never heard about an organization putting a dehydration clause.
Sick and tired of Mayweather, oh sorry, “Canelo” manipulating $hyt. These fokin primadonnas.
