You're not Canelo or Mayweather or De La Hoya to be having anyone in suspense. Just sign with a promo and announce your next fight already. Damn.
          I completely agree with that!!

I doubt GGG first fight back since losing to Canelo will be against a big time opponent. He's still looking towards a trilogy with Canelo.

Lol right?! People are already forgetting about him. GGG turned into a biznitch overnight after talking all that Mexican style nonsense and not following through.

Crap. I forgot all about him. As big of a fan as I was, that is kind of sad.

Taking the other side of the debate, as I am prone to do.....

Golovokin fought 3-4 times a year for a long time. Despite complaints about the level of competition he fought, it is STILL a ton of miles on him. This long lay off "may" be good for him. Let him recover some. I lost a ton of respect for him in the pissy way he left the ring after his razor thin but legit loss to Alvarez, but I still think an active, healthy Trip G is good for boxing. If he can sign a deal, get a win under his belt for a return bout, and get to a 2 fight a year rotation for whatever is left of his career than all good. If he is shot, then going out on a big money deal is a "more power to ya" kind of moment.

Side note: Strange how the headline is about GGG, but the story should have been about this unification match.

3G threads are oddly comforting in their predictability, like an old friend from home. Vaguely depressing, filled to the brim with irrational scorn from people who probably think a little too highly of the Charlos, etc
