Lol, if he was smart, I would think he would start with someone less dangerous, and go from there. I think Mikey is hoping he gets Spence while he is still green, but Spence is in his prime, and very hungry.

Notice Mikey didn't call out Crawford, who is style-wise a nightmare for him, and why he got his ass kicked by Crawford in the amateurs.

It is American driven credits that give spence p4p rating but the same kranks who never really rated kell brook, we know it’s an English thing don’t we.
The point I make about a stoppage of brook is valid, he was never counted out in either fight having to pull himself off the floor (like Khan) and it is for this reason I would say that some of these fights are called in an unbalanced way if you like.
Similarly to head clashes, after four, they go to the score....why not include scenarios like brook vs spence?
I mean, damage was inflicted by spence yes but was a count called? Did one of the men get counted? If anything, there should have been a rematch and don’t say anything Bout that until you’ve seen the you tube video of spence stating he WOULD fight kell Brook at either weight.
Kell brook (for the way in which he lost) deserves the rematch. I had spence only ahead for the 10/8 round prior to the stoppage. He was fighting very well but we know it ain’t gonna happen and why? Because spence (understandably) will want to stay in America and draw PPV. The only reason people go to America is for money and this is purely because of the size of the country and not it’s ability to produce the elite.
Brook admitted himself that he hurt his eye early in the fight. There were more reasons than his eye why he gave up. As far as the stoppage, Brook took a ****ing knee! He gave up to avoid getting KTFO! If you want to talk KO vs TKO, knock out or knocked down and counted out but still conscious, have at it if it makes you feel better. Stopped is stopped.

Spence breaks guys down, then goes for the kill.

He offered Brook a rematch at 154 if Brook got a belt. The problem is that Brook won't take a big fight or chance at 154 to get it.

By the way, if you think fighting close before getting KTFO is a reason for a rematch, there would be a lot more rematches. It doesn't matter what the score is if you don't finish.

That's the point, though. Similar to being in prison, you go after that big dog, not the lil poodle. Spence is that big dog. Again, I'm speculating. He gets through Spence, the whole div is on notice.

True, and if he does? Props big time to Mikey! I like both guys, and wish them well for this fight and beyond.

Remember, he basically quit against Salido to keep the win.

KO? Unlikely. TKO? Quite possible. Especially if a towel is thrown or you got a trigger ref like Tony Weeks.

                  Ditto

I don't want either guy to get blown out.

Im a Garcia fan but I am also a betting man so I wouldnt put $ on Mikey BUT his foot rhythm in my opinion makes it interesting considering Spence uses range to beat on his opponents.

I expect Mikey to come out in traditional Mexican boxing shoes with tassels.
Better feet perhaps, but not better rhythm. Mikey is predictable. Marquez has a higher boxing IQ and better timing.

Spence doesn't just use range to beat his opponents. He mixes it up. His bread and butter is digging to the body hard. This fight comes down to, if Mikey has the pop to keep Spence honest. If he doesn't, he will get broken down and stopped. Nothing else matters other than if Mikey can hurt or even buzz Spence to have him second guessing and being hesitant to go downstairs. Even Brook wasn't able to deter him.

Marquez wasn't able to make Mayweather respect his power, him being the smaller man, and he paid for that, because Floyd just started walking him down.

kell brook it himself in front of spence in yanksville and tried to secure something directly from the man and when cornered, he said he would fight him, when? Not too sure which fight you were watching but the kell brook vs Errol spence fight everyone else saw was far more competitive (both men) than you conclude. Clearly, something was wrong with Kelly’s mince pie and he took a knee...it was NOT the weight or concussive power of any punch immediately prior to taking the knee that put him there. Yes it was damage caused but you miss the point but it had no you get it and are ignoring it. Whatever.....
Kell brook is a very good world level pro boxer and has never been kod. He has been stopped by the referee on two occasions. Do you agree with this statement?
