The Garcia’s didn’t need to continue from a gash headbutt with Salido. They were winning on the cards regardless. No need to open a cut more, and better salvage for future fights when not making the cut worse. They milked the ring doctor’s advise rather nicely. Any other boxer winning rounds would too. It was a bigger landslide victory than Dirrell vs Yildirim.

What kind of idiot continues a fight after getting his nose broken by a headbutt when he has won every round in the fight and is told they can take it to the scorecards. Are you that idiot?

mikey and his brother beg the ref to stop the fight....."the question was does he have the same grit"...HELL NO Marquez never quit and beg the ref for a stoppage. Even Crawford called him out on that BS.....so many fighter fight with broken bones and don't quit (Paulie with a broken orbit, Arthur Abraham with a broken jaw) that is grit. you can learn alot from a idiot.

Grit: courage, courageousness, bravery, pluck, mettle, mettlesomeness, backbone, spirit, strength of character, strength of will, moral fiber, steel, nerve, gameness, valor, fortitude, toughness, hardiness, resolve, determination, resolution; More

It's funny because as a fighter I really like Spence and don't really like Mikey. But I really respect Mikey for taking on this challenge and it is always fun to root for the underdog. I hope he does well!! But I have low expectations for him here. Spence is just too good imo

Comparing Mikey Garcia to JMM is like comparing Jussie Smollet to Denzel Washington.

Abraham did quit you moron(he told the doctor he didnt want to continue). But his injury was caused by a legal blow(punches) so he'd have lost by TKO if he didnt continue.

Fights get prematurely stopped by illegal blows and turned to the scorecards plenty. And only a complete e******o, like yourself, would think it's courageous to continue a fight after a guy breaks your nose with his head(and this is salido, a known dirty bastard who leads with his head), when you're given the opportunity to go to the scorecards in a fight you've dominated. If Mikey's nose was broken from a legal blow and he quit you'd have a point, but it wasn't. So what, if Garcia now cant breathe through his nose, fatigues and gets stopped late due to the broken nose, caused by an illegal blow, you'd be satisfied then? Dopey mother***er.

Has nothing to do with courage, continuing at that stage is just ******.

Mikey is gritty enough but he isn't good enough. I think Spence wins every round on his way to an early KO. Spence is a relentless attacker who sets a very fast pace and is a vicious body puncher. He can be hit but he takes punches very well from bigger punchers than Mikey. I think he is way too much for Mikey and that is what the 5 to 1 betting odds in his favor say as well.

That is not true. Mikey was killing Salido when Salido broke his nose with a headbutt so they went to the cards. Only a fool would have insisted on continuing with a broken nose caused by a known dirty fighter, To question Mikey's courage over this is wrong and unfair. If the injury had been caused by a legal punch and he needed to continue fighting to win then he would have.
