Errol Spence Jr. agreed when asked if Mikey Garcia's precise punching and textbook technique reminds him of a prime Juan Manuel Marquez. Spence just isn't convinced Garcia possesses the "grit and determination" that the retired Mexican legend displayed countless times during his Hall-of-Fame career. While Marquez dug deep numerous times during a 64-fight, 21-year pro career most notably during four fights against Manny Pacquiao Spence hasn't seen comparable fortitude from Garcia because Spence hasn't witnessed Garcia in that type of battle.

I think stylewise these are 2 vastly different fighters but I agree with what Errol said. Mikey is still untested and we don't really know how he's gonna react when faced with adversity.

We all know if Mikey can take Spence’s shots no problem he can win but if not then it’s gonna get worse for him!
