#2 Oscar is doing the bare minimum by even sending the letter, he was snaked by Al Haymon repeatedly.. he built up Ryan Garcia, he’s protecting his investment.. do you see Oscar hanging out with Tank? Smh

Garcia, Floyd or anybody else for that matter are free men, with the right to associate with anyone they please. What should be the outcome of this letter from Oscar? That Mayweather shouldn’t be able to throw parties, or that Garcia shouldn’t be able to attend them?

Yes I remember when B-Hop said that, and I was thinking the same thing at the time tbh. But then everything came to light were Scheffer was telling the fighters not to resign to Golden Boy and instead directed them to sign to Al Haymon instead. Al Haymon was already working on his PBC brand.

It was very dirty what Scheffer and Al Haymon did. But Golden Boy survived what Scheffer did and the company has many bright stars including the biggest name and face of boxing!

Schaefer was able to lock up the deepest talent roster in the sport of boxing, without Golden Boy being on the actual hook for all of that guaranteed money, lol.

All because Haymon and Schaefer (on behalf of Golden Boy) were able to come to a mutual understanding that made sense for everyone.

Oscar finally comes down off of his ride, let's Bob Arum weasel in his ear, and literally imploded his own company (folks focus on the loss of the fighters, but people forget that Oscar had to then buy back the stakes from Schaefer, AEG, and the investors that Schaefer brought in; going from owning most of a watermelon to owning 92% of a g**** were it not for Sail Alvarez sticking by).

Five years removed from that, Golden Boy Promotions is still a one-fighter shop, waiting on baited breath on the crumbs from Alvarez's plate.
