I'm more like "1st Joshua came with that BS flat-fee offer..." Yeah, I don't think Arum would try to make Fury vs. Parker. That sucks! Maybe Fury vs. Pulev or Fury vs. Oscar Rivas! I'm cool with those two...ON ESPN!

I do think it’s a bad investment for Arum though. Fury can be in an exciting fight with Wilder because of Wilder’s fight-ending power creating tension (with Fury playing the skilful matador)

He’s likely to look boring and weak against other fighters (other than Joshua), he can’t generate interest with impressive KOs because he can’t generate them to save his life.

So I see Arum pouring money into a diminishing asset.

He should already have the WBC strap. He doesn’t and I couldn’t care less . However , there is no doubting the fighter that gained mostly in the Dec 1st bout was Fury. It is Wilder that needs the rematch more than Fury.

I watched an interview with Fury even after him signing the deal that all he wants is Wilder still. He contradicts himself daily but so does Wilder. Why would Wilder come out and say he is a free agent? Did you honestly see him going to ESPN or DAZN? Of course you didn’t so why did he say it then?

Wilder was so hell bent on the rematch that his team didn’t want to entertain becoming undisputed which is weird. It is what it is
Being a free agent doesn't mean he's willing to sign a multi fight contract with Bob Arum.

Fury is the one that pulled out of the rematch. No two ways about it.

Are you dumb? Fury is the one that pulled out and ducked the rematch.

                  Not Wilder.

Then, in the eleventh hour Fury pulls an autible and signs with Arum, which he had to know was gonna make it tough to do a rematch. Then, they send Wilder a deal which includes having to sign a multi-fight deal with Arum. Then the new Team Fury publically acknowledges that they want an interim fight. Yet you still find a way to indirectly blame Wilder for the rematch not happening immediately, which both Wilder and Fury say they wanted, until Tyson signed Arum. So yeah, your logic is ******.
Man don't even bother trying to teach him anything. This is so clear a duck by Fury that ANYONE who says its not is just a fanboy and could care less about sport as long as their hero don't lose. And like you said this deal for Wilder to fight on ESPN still don't get him rematch 1st or even possible 2nd fight of 5 fight deal.Which of couse would kill any chance of AJ fight should he win.And if these guys REALLY knew boxing they would know its not like Al Haymon can just bring his biggest draw across street to ESPN and expect to get money/dates for rest of staple if he is only gonna take them across street once they hit PPV level. And just to be a huge azz he waits until after AJ has another fight before informing Wilders team that they did not want imm rematch.
