Wilder was saved by the bell. Ortiz hasn't done anything since so that's more of a reflection on how easily Wilder is susceptible of losing. its why I know Breazeale should win that fight. Style wise he could reach Wilder far easier and hold a shot to land one better then Ortiz did, and hes also more durable as the fight goes longer which is opposite to ortiz. We also found out Ortiz failed a medical exam prior to that Wilder fight which does make wilder look bad.
Brezeale is awful, but he may just ktfo wilder

While i think Breazeale is tough, i think Wilder starches him.
Wilder has knocked out plenty of fighters around that level. It took a very, very good fighter in Fury to beat him (get robbed).
I'm not saying Wilder is elite, but i think he has and will deal with guys on the level of Breazeale.Comment

Wilder fights don’t have to age well he’ll always be one punch away from disaster against other sizable punchers , he’s lucky the only shot Breazeale landed grazed him because it still stunned him enough to drive Wilder back . We all knew whoever landed first solidly would most likely win . I thought myself Breazeale would land first with better defense but he’s a slow starter , I also picked Wallin over Fury for different reasons I should have won that one .
You can’t claim a thread doesn’t age well concerning Wilder on the fact most people thought he lost already , if he defeats Fury it will be the only time Wilder fans have something to brag about .Last edited by REDEEMER; 02-18-2020, 05:03 PM.Comment

Man you should've seen all the threads on BoxingScene in 2014 about Stiverne was gonna KTFO "bird legs" Wilder. There was a poll on fight night in Jan 2015... most of BoxingScene predicted Stiverne by KO.
Then everyone was talking about "Deontay ducking King Kong Ortiz" and so many people predicted Ortiz by KO.
Now there are people claiming Fury will KO Wilder.
And after he wins they'll call it a lucky punch.
Same shit. Every goddamn time.Comment
