Put it on the undercard on May 18th! Ortiz would jump at the Whyte fight IMO. Wilder is probably set up for Breazeale, Konawcki, Ortiz/Whyte winner unless they make the rematch with Fury or unification with AJ

And I'd agree with that statement.
It wasn't the same at all, Fury dominated! It was way different than Canelo vs GGG 1 where Canelo was more accurate and landed more power punches in a majority of the rounds. Wilder was less accurate, landed less power punches and just got outboxed.

Yes, more experts had Fury winning than had Wilder winning, but such a significant amount of experts scored the fight a draw that it's ludicrous to complain about the official judges rendering a draw as well.
        No they didn't....

The issue here isn't about Fury electing to go another route. He can do whatever he pleases. But it is clear he was not negotiating in good faith when he was holding the ESPN deal from Wilder's team. Now, maybe it was strategic and he was doing that to prevent any chance of Wilder/Joshua happening. But then when he did sign with ESPN, Wilder still said that wouldn't prevent the fight from happening. What does Bob do? Offer a multi-fight deal with the rematch NOT happening immediately. Again fine. But there is a clear pattern here. Fury's side probably was never keen on taking an immediate rematch. Arum from the get go was talking about this fight being much bigger if they just wait a bit longer.

And who knows, maybe the rematch is bigger come fall time, but..............................

No, actually it wasn't much different, especially from the scorecards from the boxing media and fans. GGG/Fury were the consensus winners from most, but Canelo/Wilder had their fair share of draw scorecards and some even going their way. Again, I had it a two point win for both GGG/Fury. "Fury dominated" maybe in terms of rounds won, but him getting dropped twice and having some early close rounds made it tight. Canelo winning the early rounds and then pulling some of the later rounds made that fight tighter even though GGG dominated for a large stretch of the fight.

So no, it actually isn't "way different" whatever way you look at it.

Oh man, that would be GREAT. But Whyte is a PPV fighter in the UK so he's not fighting on no UC. Joyce on the other hand is supposedly fighting on Wilder's UC in May. Or that is what I took from Schaefer's interview last weekend.

Definitely some fights there for Whyte and Ortiz.

I'm somewhat disappointed in this, not really surprised, though. Fury probably feels the need to work on some things before the Wilder rematch, as well as probably rest his brain after a big fight (and also feel out how's the fighting going to be now that he's lost some more weight). If it happens later in the year, I won't mind. If it doesn't, I'm going to say ducking.

Then again, if Wilder's going to take an L, now's the time. He seems to have been rattled by the Fury fight, as he spoke it, he believed it, but he sure as hell did not receive it.

Well i'm talking about what actually happened in the ring. It wasn't like GGG clearly won 9/12 rounds. That never happened.

                      Not a surprise

Fury swerved a rematch because that KD in the 12th took some of his confidence away and has him a shook. Most thought (55%) He won so it’s easier to save face take the cash fight lesser competition and not risk getting laid out again

Everyone praising Fury for running away from a rematch a fight between the 2&3 HWs in a fight that leaves no doubt who should face AJ for the biggest HW fight in decades are a bunch of fake b.itches and in no way would be saying positive things about any other fighter if they pulled this l doubt Wilder would receive the same praise from you guys if he pulled this sh.it . Using excuses like he already won but for some odd reason didnt leave with the strap he might have won to most but he got dropped twice and probably the second time resulting in soul being took and openly avoiding a rematches not exactly a definitive win or a good look . This is further proof fans will twist anything their fighter does and make it look like a good thing and cant even be honest

I wouldnt be suprised if A rematch never happens and that’s not a good thing
