The nervousness on this topic must have a lot of you on edge. Mikey is a good fighter but if there's any indication that he has a 50% chance in beating Spence is wishful thinking. Mikey's power couldn't stop Lipinets, who kept coming forward. What makes you think his power will have much of an effect on Spence? Sure you could be fast and have timing but Mikey has never fought at this weight before to put those traits to the test. It's easier said than done. It would have made more sense for Mikey to test himself against an average opponent before Spence but unfortunately for him he's in for a rude awakening. Spence is still young and will only continue to improve.

Focus on skills is right mindset for Errol.....

No need for Errol to focus on something you already have a natural advantage on size and strength. Focus on other skills sets and let the knock out happen naturally because you are the bigger and stronger man already. Concentrate on setting up the right shots and the power and strength will do the damage.

Dude I couldn't agree more. Mikey's dad even wanted that fight since Pac a legend and would be a huge money fight. I mean the fight could still be made while Pac still around

Skill set to skill set Garcia has the edge so it’s 100% about the size for Spence Mr. trainer man. If Spence tries to outbox he’s going to lose those rounds I think

Spence needs 2 things: Cut off the ring (in other words, do not chase Garcia around), and fight tall, using distance as your friend. Garcia is both good enough and motivated enough to win exchanges on the inside in spurts and out work Spence using the ring and footwork to his advantage. Spence, of course, can win even exchanges on the inside if Garcia stands in front of him because I do not see Garcia being able to truly hurt Spence. I also wonder if Garcia loses some speed at such a higher weight much like I worry for Usyk for the same reasons as he preps to go to HW. But mainly if Spence can keep Garcia in front of him and launch jabs with bad intentions to set up his power shots, he should have a really good night.
