I remember in 2016 Danny received an offer of a career-high payday from Pac to fight for 3-4M, but declined the offer to fight Samual Vargas instead for way lesser amount. I'm confused why he would turn that down. And why he is he not calling out Pac now when Pac only have 1-2 more fights left.
Why everyone wants to fight Pacquiao except Danny Garcia?

He did the same with Floyd. Few years ago when Garcia was riding high, he was asked about a big money fight with Floyd and be basically said that he was in no rush to fight these guys. Weird.
Maybe keeping a perfect record was more important to him.. perhaps he thought he could carve his own legacy without fighting those guys. Who knowsComment

I forgot about the Floyd fight also. This was the time when all other welterweights were begging to fight Floyd and Manny. I seriously think this was his dad's decision. He did the same with Floyd. Garcia already beat all time great legends like Rios, Guerrero, Judah and Malignaggi.
He has nothing left to prove against someone like Pac and he should probably just retire.Comment

Danny has already stated he isn’t the type to call out guys ,’especially fighters like Mayweather or PAC
If they want to fight Danny they’ll pick him he doesn’t need to be doing interviews mentioning their name begging for a fight. It won’t change the fact if he gets the fight or not
Why constantly call out Mayweather/ PAC only to not get it and just look desperate like Khan did for years.
Manny team will pick what prime PBC WW he fights next and if they decide
It’s Danny then thats who it isComment

Danny Garcia is a Puerto Rican- American (oxymoron, know) kid from Philadelphia, with cache in the inner cities, one of the best records built over his runs at 140/147, is dabbling with being conversational in Spanish, can fight his ass off, and basically looks like Jon B with baby blue eyes.I remember in 2016 Danny received an offer of a career-high payday from Pac to fight for 3-4M, but declined the offer to fight Samual Vargas instead for way lesser amount. I'm confused why he would turn that down. And why he is he not calling out Pac now when Pac only have 1-2 more fights left.
He's flying his own banner (DSG Promotions), has shown to be a strong ticket seller in Brooklyn, LA, Las Vegas, Philadelphia, and Puerto Rico, and he hasn't really been crazy reckless with the money that he's made so far either.
Danny fighting Pacquiao in 2016, or whenever it was, was worth double the money that was offered; Pacquiao had to literally go and fight an Australian in Australia for Top Rank to find the money to cover Pacquiao's guarantee without Broner or Garcia in the US.
All Danny needs to do is keep winning; the bump in the FOX deal, plus the ITV deal, plus the tickets sold for his fight, plus the fact that he's a promoter of the fight is going to leave him with a sizable bag anyway.
Beat Granados in April, pick off FigueroaJr or Berto in an event after that, and fight another bout for early 2020, and Danny Garcia is likely the first in line for a shot at the WBC/WBA/IBF 147lb champion, in a feature PPV fight.
Danny can run his race and still come out on top, with or without a Pacquiao fight, as long as he keeps winning.
Errol Spence Jr is in basically the same boat, tbh.
Everyone else (outside of possibly Mikey Garcia) is basically thirsting at this pointComment
