So you do the math. (£)50,000 is a Hell of lot less money than $400,000; Which is what Whyte was going to tentatively receive upon that purse bid with Kubrat Pulev. While Miller was scheduled to earn just $70,000 against Joe Joyce.

It was an IBF final eliminator which whyte is suppose to get 25% of the purse bid which happens to be less than 1.2m. Invariably, whyte was expected to earn less than 300k which didn't make any financial sense to him to go fight in Bulgaria.

He took a wiser decision to headline a ppv fighter with Parker and made far more than the 25% split.

I can remember vividly how whyte was criticized in the forum and called a duck.
