I really doubt this story, Rios is known to invest his money wisely, he also doesn’t spend lavishly, he does have cars as his toys but he keeps his monies well. I don’t believe this at all.

Ok I googled reported purses for Rios. Note that fighters usually make more than their reported purses. Just the easy ones. He made 3 mill for Pacquiao. He made $800k for Bradley. He made $925k for Diego fing Chaves. $850k for Alvarado 3, $1.25mill for Alvarado 2. All up in his Top rank fights he probably made more than $10million. But keep telling yourself he is poor coz Bob spent all his money.

Being that he's in dire need of money he will probably continue to get his brains beat in. I couldn’t even watch the whole fight against Sotto. It was just sad to watch. He has an estimated net worth of 400 thousand bucks and that includes his home and car. He isn't broke but unless he has another source of money he will probably need to fight again to live well with his family. Garcia should give him a job so he won't need to keep fighting. He is better off than Tommy Hearns who is only worth 50 thousand after earning millions. Holyfield earned enough for a normal person to be rich for many lifetimes and is now worth 500 thousand. Too many high paid boxers never save any money for retirement.

What else is new? All fighters end up broke. That's why Manny Pac is still fighting. It's the reason why Money May keeps on fighting because he is no longer liquid; Since he is not an active fighter anymore. Now he's seeking his third fight since retiring back in 2015.
