the same people that complain about some extra seconds between rounds are the same guys that say ortiz is old and gassed horribly
so in essence that extra time should have also helped ortiz recover from punching himself out at the end of the previous round
look...ill be dead honest.....ortiz caught wilder and stunned and hurt him....but wilder was never in any serious danger or badly hurt....guys get caught with good clean hard shots and it stuns them momentarily and leaves them open...the other guy sees it...and he pounces...hes got wilder out of position and now ortiz is in position to throw the kitchen sink at him...which is what he did
had ortiz landed another big shot that wilder didnt see then wilder would have been in trouble
but wilder weathered the storm and was never badly hurt...he was in a bad position because the other guy was in a great one...ortiz was one shot ahead of wilder once he stunned him.....its a position weve seen countless fighters in...some get caught with another and stopped....some weather the storm and survive to see another round
wilder never left his feet and shook his head at the bell to signal he wasnt hurt
some of you guys make it out to be way more than what it really was because you hate wilder....
My man you making yourself look and sound dumb AF and it’s nit a good look, they brought a doctor in after the 1 min break and have wilder something like an extra 20 seconds. If getting an extra 20 seconds after getting hurt “doesn’t compute” I’m not sure much does with you. To me it don’t make a difference but if wilder nut huggers are gonna cry about fury beating the count, you damn right I’m gonna bring up wilders paid pbc mid fight medical break

i was at the fight and ive watched it like 4 times after
floyd got rocked by shane a couple of times...and hes a technical/defensive fighter....loma got dropped by linares....ward dropped by kovalev....
the reality is wilder wasnt as hurt as you guys want to make him out be.....the extra time i have no explanation for....i dont work for the ny boxing commish or any of that....i cant explain that.....
what i do know is wilder never left his feet....and he signaled he was fine after the bell rang....and walked back to his corner just fine....was there maybe some home cooking? maybe? did they take extra precaution for no good reason? maybe
but he wasnt hurt....and even if he was does that make him a bum? he didnt leave his feet...he was less hurt than floyd vs shane....he was standing unlike greats like loma and ward.....does it make him a bum? also he knocked the other guy down 3x total and finished him off after being "nearly stopped"...lol
some of you guys are delusional

2. Nope. Wilder was landing on him after getting up, too. Huge left hooks. Wilder gassed near the end of the round, however, especially after all that celebrating after having KOed Fury.
3. Also no. Saw Wilder win, both ways. Lifting your arms up after every round doesn't mean you won it.
So, tell us. What did Beyonce carry Fury for 12 rounds, when we all know he could have blown out fury in the first?

why do people insist wilder was "badly hurt" against ortiz? i mean....he was hurt....and to say "badly hurt" is actually better than some of the crap ive seen his haters say...ive actually seen guys say "out on his feet against ortiz(of course this was by guys that loathe him)"......
i was there...and ive watched the fight 3-4 times after....wilder was hurt and in a bad position because he got caught....but i dont think his legs were really ever that shaky....and he never left his feet....when the bell rang he shook his head to signal he wasnt hurt and walked back fine.....he was hurt....but some people have gone overboard IMO...he got caught and was in a bad spot because ortiz was in position to capitalize.....but i dont think wilder was really in any real trouble.......now sure if there was another minute left in the round he might have been....but its just as likely that ortiz was nearing the end of his onslaught because surely ortiz would have gassed real soon if the round was any longer
BTW, I’m a big Wilder fan. I live in Nashville, which is less than 200 miles from Birmingham, where Wilder has fought several times. And I’ve seen him live in multiple occasions. Even attended his pro debut, which was in Nashville. On the Taylor-Lacy undercard.

Who has been making the most noise in the heavyweight division lately by taking on some the riskiest and most dangerous undefeated opponents today? You are damn right! It's Deontay Wilder.
So much so that he is now forcing Anthony Joshua out of his comfort zone of England, to travel globally and to the United States to stage fights here for fear of Wilder's profile surpassing his on a global scale.
That's why Tyson Fury has signed with ESPN and fighting in the U.S. Because he is building his brand off of Deontay Wilder's name and profile. Also, wrong; Miller will mark AJ's fourth fight since defeating Wladimir Klitschko in April of 2017.
Let's be real; the only thing 'forcing' Anthony Joshua out of his comfort zone is DAZN and the fact they've guaranteed him somewhere around $30,000,000 Dollars to fight Miller at MSG. Miller himself has admitted that DAZN had to put up part of his purse too which goes to show just how desperate DAZN were to get the fight.

AVOIDING the rematch while still being considered a viable top 3 threat in the game has happened because of none other: Deontay Wilder! ....AJ & Crew was under the impression their "MONEY" moved EVERYTHING, even choice of opponents! Wilder & The Gypsy King have proven that hustle & COURAGE can make things happen for the little guy, even generating some millions & profiles of their own...BIG RESPECT!!

Evander "The Real Deal" Holyfield tells it like it is, although I'd have Fury sharing the top spot after their first fight, and I'm predicting (hoping for) a stoppage win for Wilder in their rematch. Hopefully Fury sticks to his guns, refuses to fight anyone but the top heavyweights and demands Wilder next.
