How did Joyce look vs stiverne?

    I didn't see the fight.

I don't want to hear from the wilder turd crew obviously stiverne was more motivated than for Wilder 2 and Joyce gas had like 6 fights

The only thing impressive was his chin.

I just watched it. Joyce did fine in his 7th fight against a guy who 40 fight Wilder it's his second best win.

Impressive China and work rate, needs to get some snap on those punches though

That sums it up pretty well.

Joyce reminds me of a rock em sock em robot.

He fought a more inside fight then usual and smothered his own power punching up but he drained the hell out of stiverne. He ratteld Stiverne every round barring the 4th because he was punching non stop. he resumed in the 5th and you knew it was over real soon with Stiverne staggering to his corner.

He had a far better straight right in this one and less body punching, so hes still learning to mix it up more.

All in all really he looked like he coasted the entire fight with patterns of trying to hurt Stiverne then slowing down on and off. Nothing really negative, he adjusted well after round one and settled down being more aware of right hands coming back. Stiverne didn't have a chance ,could nt hurt Joyce couldn't punch a lot and couldn't breath for 6 rounds with a 265 pound guy on top of him battering him.

I forget who it was about a 50/50 fight maybe Barrett but this was not anything of the sort ,had the bookies seen this fight prior the odds would be 50 to 1 . lol

              At the doubters

I'll put it to you this way..people will lose money betting against Joyce with anyone outside the top 3.

Don't believe me ? Go ahead bet against him if hes not fighting Fury or Joshua, if he fights wilder he'll be the underdog take that bet to if you took Stiverne over him. Wilder will probably be a 5 to 1 favorite in an actual 50/50 fight . lol

The only thing he has going for him is his size, he was getting clipped even by a shot Stiverne who obviously did all of his training at Burger King.

I'd like to see him matched up against Michael Hunter next. Hunter's shown in his recent fights that he's the one to expose overhyped HW prospects who only have size going for them and nothing else. On the other hand if Joyce manages to get past him then it'll quell the doubters a bit. I don't expect it to happen though.

He was eating big rights the whole fight. He proved he had a good chin. If it was average we'd be talking about how he lost. His defence is terrible and he's the slowest HW in the division. At best he's the HW Margarito.

His size will give some fighters problems, but a top level fighter beats him right now. And probably beats him in a year too. I don't think experience necessarily resolves any of his deficiencies.

We'll see where he goes over his next few fights but I can't see him ever getting into the top 5.
