Do the announcers not understand the rules of boxing ? The initial cut was from a headbutt. If the fight gets stopped at any point for the cut, no matter how many times afterward Dirrell gets hit on that cut with legit punches, the fight goes to decision. C’mon Boom Boom. Nothing to be confused or outraged about here. You are a former champ and should know this.

Ray Mancini, no disrespect, is not making any sense. No reason to stop it between rounds for the eye either. Give the corner a chance to clean it up in between rounds and make the determination afterwards.

Dirrell makes things hard for himself. I can't understand laying on the ropes the way he does and his lack of angles. He started to box after his eye started bleeding. Anyway, I don't want to see the rematch.
