I remember that from the BJS fight...iirc I think the first 6 rounds were close-ish but all more or less clear for BJS (typical BJS imo, he could win 12-0 against some guys but every round would be close but clear)...then the last 6 rounds Eubanks decided to finally fight but it was too late. Can't exactly remember but I know it was something like that.

I just asked about the Groves fight because I didn't see Eubanks outclassed in that one that bad, but then again I just saw bits and pieces. Maybe I will give it a full watch.

I guess I am trying to say I don't think Eubanks is as good as he thinks he is, but I also don't think he is as bad as some people make him out to be lol. That win over Yildrim looks pretty good right now actually I think.

Since when was he ever at the top, MW or super MW? He just beat a guy who has declined to his level, and all of a sudden, he thinks he is at the top? It won't be long till he gets another L against an elite level boxer who is at the top and in their prime.

As much as I don’t particularly like Eubank,he’s a world class athlete and I respect that but he just needs the right type of opponent/style to make him look world class

          We share the same sentiments

Needing "the right type of opponent/style to make him look world class" sounds...very non-world class to me? More like high level domestic? Nobody could accuse him of not putting forth the effort but that is precisely how Eubank has always struck me to date. I guess there's still time for me to be proven wrong, but I'm not holding my breath.

Eubank jnr got the job done, cong**** to him, that scorecard was ridiculous, easy wide decision
Agree with everything you’ve said. Eubank is soo linear, he doesn’t even have his fathers angles and creativity and he was never top of the food chain, you could argue he boxes more like Benn than Eubank Snr.

The worrying thing for Degale is he mapped out the Eubank game plan before facing it with 100% accuracy and still couldn’t deal with it. The reality is he doesn’t have the reflexes or speed that he once relied on, just like RJJ once you lose that asset you can’t come back, he needs to hang them up.

Adapting to opponents is what makes a world class fighter, the MW division is packed with talent... Canelo, GGG, Charlo, Jacobs, Andrade, he’d struggle to win a round in that company...lets be honest he’s not even top of the British tree, PED’s aside, Saunders runs rings around him and even he is clinging to top world class level, same goes for Callum Smith at SMW, he’d splatter Eubank.

Eubank should have gotten 8 rounds easy on those cards. But at least we are talking about the right guy winning. I will take bad scores so long as the boxer who obviously controlled the fight, landed the best combinations, and dropped the other guy twice at least gets his hand raised.

It was an ugly fight, but somehow it was entertaining.

Your right, but I mean he’s a world class athlete, not a world class boxer, he’s got good cardio, looks good in the gym, he’s fast, but he lacks boxing ability
