i became a fan after the Jack war even though he is a cringy idiot, but lost all respect for him after that pathetic 'effort' especially after all his big talk and years of exuses.

I think he is actually more of a deluded idiot than Khan tbf.

Made the usual mistake. Thought being James Degale was enough to beat lowly Eubank. As much as Groves made Eubank look novice Degale made him look good, as he was using his lunging punch combo that he has used many times before and amazingly Eubank actually got a trainer and prepared for it. The fight was won/lost by the corners. Degale needed to change his years ago to get his head out of the James Degale show. He completely ****ed it up. Somehow the people came out for him, he was the crowd favourite. All he needed to do was bring a legit plan to the fight or a corner who could adjust him as he went and he wouldn't haave looked so pathetic. This could've been his night.

I do feel sorry for Jrs trainer though, he did good for him but when Jr lifted and slammed Degale down, the corner session after he didn't know where to look/what to say. Gonna cause problems down the line if he is worried about being firm with him.

Anyway enjoy retirement James Degale, don't start getting on planes drunk and getting arrested again etc please, you say you live boxing, retire and give back in to the local youth. A 2xworld champ and Olympic gold medallist could inspire many kids to boxing over football etc in nthe area.
