Another UK hype job. You always have to be aware of hype jobs in boxing - a lot of people will rate a 7/10 guy as the next coming, whereas in the UK they only require a 3/10 fighter to hype up as the second coming.

Never impressed by Joyce. "He big and hit hard doe" yeah so are many other HWs you've never fuccing heard of. Let's be real, Joyce got whipped by Usyk and he wasn't a kid when that happened either. Usyk is pretty good, but not great (until proven otherwise at HW) and Joyce was slapped like a british slapper (is slapper still used in the UK to mean wh0re? Because what I'm trying to say is that Joyce is a hoe, Abel Sanchez is a hoe, and you UK bumboys that were hyping Joyce are hoes too)

TBF he did win a silver Olympic medal. Not like that means much, it shows how far the amateurs are behind the pros.

I could never get that Usyk fight out of my head - he just ain't what his cheer-girls are hyping him up to be. Slow, stiff, robotic, trained by gayble sancheeze etc.

I just haven't seen this hype. Most on here seemed to acknowledge what he is.

He's big but flawed. Defensively weak, movement is awkward. He can take a punch though. Even as an amateur we saw him take Usyk's best with relative ease - comfortably beaten without any threat of stoppage

Needs to step up again and see if he can still walk through punches. Seems very unlikely to me.

Sanchez is saying this guy is another George Foreman? No. Joyce was mummified, stiff, and slow. He did take a decent punch from Stiverne early, but he's at the level where he could only be assured a victory over David Price. He's definitely several fights away from Top 10. He'd have trouble with Adam Kownacki

One of the main problems today is how quick people are to throw shade at the fighters on the come-up. Why not just enjoy the ride? BIG JUGGERNAUT has a very fan-friendly style, and he is demolishing opponents on a path to the top of the division. He is now highly ranked by the WBA after only 8 fights in less than two years. He turned pro 16 months ago and just beat a former World champion and is being lined up for a shot at a "regular" World title in the not-too-distant future.

Well Fury and Joshua don't want it and you gotta fight somebody.
