New interview: Fury confirms wilder must fight on ESPN

I like Fury but he is not in control at Heavyweight...AJ IS! The Lineal Stuff sounds nice I guess but lets be honest nobody really cares about that.
As for Wilder...REMAIN a Network Free Agent and just float around to the highest Bidder and best offers but DO NOT Give up your Network Freedom and Limit yourself to ESPN just to chase a damn Fury rematch when the AJ fight is BIGGER and worth WAY MORE. Wilder should just be patient and take on whatever PBC has for him for now: Breazeale, HOPEFULLY Dillian Whyte finally, Ortiz Rematch maybe, Kownacki, Joe Joyce, Andy Ruiz that is not a bad list of Heavyweights to fight while you wait for the Fury or AJ fight to get done.
What will eventually happen is that DAZN will jump in like they just did to get the Big Baby Fight done and give Wilder what he wants because that is a Massive fight for DAZN. Even Splitting coverage with FOX or Showtime is a WIN for DAZN because they could use the boost is subs in the US and that is the fight to get it for them for sure!
PATIENTS is very Important for both Wilder and even Whyte, DO NOT lock yourself down to any of them and give up Leverage and Options. The pressure is more on Stephen Espinoza to jump in and try to lock up Wilder and Whyte after ESPN just got Fury and DAZN has AJ

Well he is the “Lineal champ” and he has a network that would showcase him. From his point of view he isn’t just an opponent to anyone anymore. Wilder is a free agent, as long as he gets paid well to fight Fury on ESPN without any string attached then I think the fight would go ahead.Comment

It is truly an exercise in psychology.
To see these people tying themselves in knots attempting to make reality meet their inner viewpoint. Most of them are unaware they're doing it, but I think a few are. It's really interesting actually.Comment

I really dont like Wilder because of his ducking, but there's a lot of sense being spoken here.I like Fury but he is not in control at Heavyweight...AJ IS! The Lineal Stuff sounds nice I guess but lets be honest nobody really cares about that.

yeah and fury ducked wilder, thats pretty much all that happened, yeah he got a deal but im a boxing fan, his deal doesn't benefit me in any way, I just want to see the best fights, Fury simply played with our heads and knew he was going to take this route the whole time. It's called prize fighting for a reason. You fight who will generate you more money. Both Fury and Joshua generate more money by themselves then Wilder. Wilder has a history of turning down highest pays. From Whyte to Joshua even someone of his choice for 5 million when he made 2.1 . Only ducks and avoiding has come from Wilder the entire time, Fury will.probably be added to the list where he neglected more money but we'll have to see.Comment
