    This.

Kovalev has one hit power at 175. He'll never be ready for that.

    • RIP Canelo if it happens. Unless he is fighting a 60 years old Kovalev. lol

Kovalev boxed well against two great technical boxers Ward and Hopkins. I really don't see Canelo winning this one.

Typical Canelo bull****. Dmitry Bivol called out ALL the 168 champions. This bull**** article says Canelo is a 168 champion. Well then. But Canelo don't face ELITE PRIME OPPONENTS especially not ones with skill and power to boot.
I'm reading GGG looking into fighting Adrien Broner.

Meanwhile Canelo wants to fight at LHW for yet ANOTHER title.

That'll be like 47 champion opponents for Ca$hnelo...5 for Borat.

        Tisk tisk SO SAD.

Why did VADA CEO allow Francisco Vargas to fight 45 days away? Vargas had double the amount of Canelo.

Canelo didn’t invent the narrative that was already there, and no boxer was ever discriminated against like Canelo 80 days away. If you think VADA gives Canelo a pass during 365, what makes you think VADA isn’t biased to others as they were with Vargas?

The simplest answer is because industry knows HOF like RJJ or Toney were protected which is why Canelo is in safe place. Therefor you should educate yourself with critical thinking and comprehension for facts or circumstances provided.
You cant reason with a Trump supporter lol. They hate Mexicans and ******s, but love Gennadyovich - a ****** - who makes more excuses than a prude cheerleader. Meanwhile Mr. Mexico aka Ca$h money Canelo lines 'em up and sits 'em down

          • Kovalev is 6'0
            Jacobs is 5'11 1/2

Canelo himself is 5'8 so not much height difference between Kovalev and Jacobs and besides Canelo rehydrates to LHW most fights anyways.

The dude is literally saying that his plan is to unify the MW this year and would love a fight with a dangerous 175 puncher like Kovalev and lot of people just hate.

All honesty, I saw him losing the Lara and the first GGG fight, has he gotten beneficial scorecards? yes , did he get suspended for a positive test? yes.

Can't debate Alvarez has been favored on his career but nobody and I reapeat nobody can't even dare to question his willing to face dangerous top notch guys.

He fights the guys that haters say he's never gonna fight. If all boxers were like Canelo boxing would look a more like UFC......"best fighting the best"

I can't speak for everyone else but I can tell u y I don't like canelo. I give him props for being a good fighter and being willing to fight the best but he's too protected. When someone is consistently given bogus decision wins and is obviously protected not only by his promoter but by the sactioning bodies it just makes me not like the guy. To me it takes away from what he does accomplish. Plus going into a fight knowing all u gotta do is survive to win takes away some of the bravery of fighting to best. I try and view everyone unbiasedly but I know not everyone does. there's a lot of people on here that just hate him cause they like ggg, and vice versa. it seems like now a days 90% of the people today aren't boxing fans, they're boxer fans, especially on here.

              • Kovalev is a chinless bum.

Canelo beats his stiff ass to a pulp.

Canelo is a good fighter and borderline great, but he's definitely not great and he'll never be an ATG...and I'm a Canelo fan. What is great though is his hunger and desire for greatness, which is refreshing given the bullshit some of these other fighters say..."you're on the wrong side of the street"..."can't make a fight with Bop Arum"..."Al Haymon doesn't even exist, who is he?"..."we'll fight when the time is right"...excuse, excuse, excuse

Canelo reminds me of Andre Ward except Canelo will go to YOUR backyard. America is not Canelo's home; Mexico is. Canelo fights in Texas, New York, Vegas, etc.

The biggest drawback for Canelo is he inability to distinguish himself from his opposition:
                    • Lara fight was close and could've gone either way, however, it was definitely NOT a robbery
                    • Trout fight was close and could've gone either way although the KD was probably the deciding factor
                    • Both GGG fights were close and could've gone either way...which is why EyeontheRing FAN scorecards were 6-6 (1st fight) and 7-5 (2nd fight). Actually EYEontheRING FANS scored the 2nd fight for GGG. Regardless of how you feel...both fights were close with several "pick 'em" rounds...suggesting otherwise means you DKSAB or are a fan with a motive
                    • Cotto fight was again close, but somewhat clear. Either 7-5 or even 8-4 for Canelo were both acceptable scores

Are the scorecards for Canelo annoying? Yes. Canelo is not a promoter, judge, or referee though. He cannot control the Floyd scorecard or the GGG 1 scorecard which were both disastrous and simply bad for boxing (much like Deontay's card against Fury). I cannot fault Canelo for what is likely an inside job of his promoter or the greedy sanctioning bodies.

The other thing with Canelo is the potential PED usage. Although the general public seems very unconcerned about the possibility he used PED's this boxing community would make you think he was using IV steroids and was awaiting public execution. Many of the so-called fans on here glorify his failed tests as if it helped their bank acconts in some way?

The hard truth is Canelo was probably clean. People don't like to hear that. He never tested + before or after using random OSDT (GGG1, GGG2, Floyd, Trout, etc.), enrolled in WBC 365, took the hair follice test (at request of NSAC), tested positive in Mexico where there is a precedence of - specifically - clenbuterol in the meat, and the WADA director said his levels were "consitent with meat contamination". Crucifying Canelo over his tests with complete ignorance of available evidence again suggests a motive.

The same logic is why I firmly believe Manny Pacquiao DID use PEDs and Pacquiao fans tend to be GGG fans so it's not surprising that they clear Manny, but crucify Canelo.

Manny avoided OSDT (which is su****ious in itself) for 3-4 years...Y E A R S...saying giving blood weakened him (untrue) and that he was afraid of needles. Those were literally his reasons for not testing...what's worse is his fans not only accepted those "reasons", but vindicted him and hailed him some religious hero...and he never needed tests. The dude moved up in weight, put on mass, and retained (and possibly improved) his speed and power. That's simply not how things happen. You don't go through growth spurts at 28-29-30 years old. He cheated. Period.

All that, but Manny is beloved on these boards while Canelo is a villain. How does that make any sense?
