I'll be so glad when folks stop putting words into Deontay Wilder's mouth. When did he ever remotely say that he was unhappy with his current promotional situation or deal with the PBC? Nes of thaboxingvoice took his words out of context and then ran with them to Eddie Hearn as if he was looking for a new platform. Nothing could have been further from the truth.
Fury calling out Wilder again: stop using boxing politics excuses

They were already close to a very fair deal for May, and then Fury decided to sign with a rival network and promoter.
Then that rival promoter is saying that it'll make sense for them to fight later this year instead of right away, and Fury saying that his next fight depends on his promoter.

The offer Arum sent is a promoter offer not a fight offer. Arum says they can make the fight next without. Stop making up BS.For all y'all hating on wilder; TF walked away from a 50-50 split to sign with TR & ESPN. Now TR offers the fight to Wilder but they also want him contractually for 4 additional fights. That ain't right. TF screwed this fight up when he signed with Bob. It's not like TF would make more money on this fight by signing with TR. He would have made more by not signing with TR and taking the 50/50 split cause now whatever he gets he's got to pay TR on top of the folks he already has on the payroll. Please place the blame in the correct folks and not on the folks you don't like just because you don't like them.Comment

Wilder isn't signed to anyone. Arum says it can happen next but he would like to sign Wilder instead. Wilder fans are running with their own narrative making excuses. They were already close to a very fair deal for May, and then Fury decided to sign with a rival network and promoter.

This little boxing board with it's tiny membership is fun and interesting but not important enough for anybody to pay posters. I have never been a fan of either Wilder or Fury but I think Fury is the one who does not want a rematch. Fury could have had a nice paying rematch but he signed the deal with ESPN and can't even negotiate his own fights anymore and will fight lesser fighters than Wilder now. Wait and see. The weird offer Arum maid to Wilder was a joke and an insult. Wilder wants the rematch and Fury does not. Fury knows the big majority already think he won the first fight and doesn't want to risk getting KOed by Wilder in a rematch. He makes this bold statement about that lineal BS and Wilder hiding behind boxing politics when he has no desire or intention to rematch Wilder. Time to move on. This fight will never happen and Fury is the reason it won't in my opinion.

This is exactly the reason I think Wilder does want the rematch and Fury does not want the rematch. It seems obvious to me. I think Fury will be beating up some average fighters while not fighting either Wilder or AJ. He will keep on calling himself the greatest and the true lineal champion. They were already close to a very fair deal for May, and then Fury decided to sign with a rival network and promoter.

Fury ducked the rematch by signing with Top Rank. Sorry to say it, Im a Fury fan but he cant say sht now. He messed it up.Comment

He has a 50/50 split for may 18th on the table right now I mean unless Fury wants less they won't and can't send a better or "tremendous " offer to team WilderComment

I personally think the fact Fury made the decision to link up with top rank is because they weren't as close to the "fair" deal as some want us to believeThey were already close to a very fair deal for May, and then Fury decided to sign with a rival network and promoter.
