If he really wants a fight then he needs to go get it, he needs to put it out there he is available not at the drop of a hat you go fight some bums while the major players ain’t signed to fight yet... my point is, he should be more strategic or his managers should.
Pretty sure he accepted the challenge from Joyce after it was issued. I'm also pretty sure he told whyte he'd gladly fight him on 12-22 last year, but whyte ducked him to rematch an old washed up glorified journeyman. It really doesn't matter when he calls out Joshua because Joshua wants no parts of him. Where's this fake call out stuff come into play???

Abel Sanchez didn't want his fighter getting that work. Funny this is a fact yet you have clowns in here hating on Ortiz.

High risk low reward. Joshua was also terrified and dismissive as mandatory, so was Whyte with his distinct 3rd choice callout. They all name drop but thats it....Ortiz needs a promoter to be more vocal and in your face if he really wants to bust these guys up!....he's more than willing to get it on and embarrass these guys, but comes across as Mr. One Minute Monotone Mousequeak when responding....dude needs a built in megaphone with torpedoes..

Clueless Hollywood Poshua only recently learned that theres life without him and his GREEDY promoter, so Ortiz needs to stop playing the 'temporary responding fear factor,' and let these guys know that 'commercials' & propaganda promote fake items and that he's the real deal....King Kong should be known as KING KONG(!!) in the division, not Curious George waiting for the guy in the yellow hat to speak up for him.

Styles will always make fights and that southpaw style is their worst nightmare....the 'go to' EXCUSE will always be his age, so him and his team better speak up like the threat they believe themselves to be....Michael Moorer was the last threat with that effective southpaw style...made Holyfield look like a confused puppy....Sadly,Ortiz will fade into oblivion if he keeps up the "hi, I'm over here and ready" squeaking routine....Quiet responses don't work in this game

We’re not ready for Ortiz,” Sanchez said to IFL TV about not wanting to let Joyce fight Ortiz. “That’s a step where in two more fights, we’ll fight a guy LIKE Ortiz. Right now, it’s Bermane. He’s the type of style I want for Joe; not because he got knocked out by Deontay, but because he has the style that I want for Joe. If we're successful on Saturday, then we’ll start preparing for the next style we want to develop for Joe..."
Jesus that Sanchez with one quote can kill anyone’s credibility. I supposed he has learned from his last words saying GGG will beat anyone from 154 lb- 168lbs. Shelly Finkel echoed similar words about Wilder facing Klitschko yet 2 years later wilder according to his fans was the baddest man on the planet and most avoided. So on that note Joyce will be the new boogeyman in 2020

He fought his arse off. Nothing but respect for Ortiz I just wish his team would put him in harder tests than Kauffman or Hammer. Big baby vs Ortiz is a much better fight than Joshua vs Fat baby
