Schaefer is injecting his nonsense again just to show his involvement in the promotion.
Who are going to see it in theaters in the wee hours of the night?
Nah... I'd rather buy this one.. HD ppv.. I dont care how much.. I must see this one in the privacy of my home! just me and my wife... so, really its just me cause she will be ordering crap off Amazon the whole fight. Lol

Ill spend more than what ill save buying inflated drinks and food. Better spend the $70 and invite ppl over chip in with food and alcohol
This is one of the better options for PPV's. Its about $20, you get to watch on a big screen and the crowd is usually great. I've seen Mayweather's last few fights, a handful of Canelo's fights and Wilder-Fury.
You went to movies to see Mayweather - Berto?? Shame on you.
Ppl talking about PPV, ya'll better go look into some IPTV for yourselves and just pay for wifi. You can thank me later once you save a gang of money and headaches.
Been doing that for 2 years now. I'll hit a bar every now and then for some fights just for the atmosphere though but I'll never outright pay a PPV fee.
I'm not sure why people are saying they aren't promoting it well. First, let me say.... this isn't expected to be May-Pac! It's obvious these guys aren't on that level. But these are two fighters that are great in today's boxing. And CAN draw fans if they are seen more and more. As far as promotion.... they aired a commercial during the Cowboys home playoff game. They had a live press conference on Fox. They're even putting Jerry Jones face with this. That helps!!! Things like that. That's more than they do for other "small scale" PPVs. I've had friends at work tell me "hey I saw something last night on that fight you're attending". And they don't know boxing at all. I've never heard comments like this about other fights, sans May/Pac/Canelo PPVs. They're doing something right. And I think the numbers will surpass fights like Ward/Kovalev, Crawford/Khan, etc. But I guess we'll find out!! I'm in Cincinnati, and a broke ass. But I'll be attendance in Arlington! This fight matters to people.
Looks like Fathom Events has chopped down the number of theaters they're showing boxing PPVs at since the start of the year. Bastidds offering no theaters any closer than Atlanta area... now a full 2 hour drive one way. Fek that. Bastidds!
