No it wouldn't. Not in any serious legacy way. It might have made him money, it might have got his name known by more casuals.
But Loma keeps it real. Which is why he brushed off his win over Rigo as not being that amazing. An ancient Manny, killing himself to fight at a weight he hasn't fought at in ten years... only casuals would be impressed with that.
Mikey is the number 1 fight Loma fans have been wanting for a while now. With that fight seemingly getting further out of reach, then it is a matter of looking around at who else is worthy. Davis and Berchelt, sure, they are both okay. Unifying is also a worthy goal.
Lopez might be a decent fight in another year or two.
It's fair that you are high on your fighter right now. I agree that he is exciting. But you are adding two and two together and getting five.
Loma isn't interested yet, because Lopez hasn't done enough. Not because he is too scary. Just wait and see - if Lopez continues the way he is going, then he will attract the interest of the worlds best fighter.Comment

We all know the truth including you
Boring? Uses Tanks name to promote his fight? Tank's camp has been all over the news in past month use Loma's name in one breath and ducking Loma in the next. Loma is just saying, the man talks a lot and I'm here waiting for you. Everyone on this planet knows that Mayfeather and Tank are scared of this fight and avoiding Loma like the plague. Including your sorry ass.Comment

Mayweather **** Riders think a Perfect Record Means Something
First thirteen fights for all three. Opponents Records Against Loma, Floyd and Tank. SMH. Perfect means ****. I can be perfect against kindergartners. If it means anything then Loma's amateur record is king of them all, and two gold and a few worlds.

First thirteen opponents against Loma, then Floyd and then Tank. Speaks for itself. And is why Tank is ducking Loma. The Mayweather formula to a perfect, meaningless perfect, record.

Yeah So? One fight doesn't make a boxer. But a loss can propel a great career. Go listen to the Rigo fight and the broadcasters. They talk about this very point. A loss is not something to be ashamed of. It's a learning point for the greatest boxers. A pseudo perfect record will go down in history in perspective as carefully picked bull****. Mayweather will go doing in the next 50 years with a question mark next to his name. Cause the game is up. Look at Tank and you see the Mayweather formula to a perfect record.
Opponents against Loma's first 13, Floyd's first 13 and Tank's first 13.

Was a close enough fight to have loma winning. His haters blow their loads over it like it was a convincing loss, but in reality it was a fight that could have gone the other way...then all that would be left is for them to talk about that fight the same way Floyd haters talk about the Castillo fight.Comment

Because until last week, Berchelt was rematching Vargas in March, but he busted his hand in camp:Are you noticing how many Loma fans want to see Loma vs. Tank, but not Loma vs. Teofimo Lopez? Loma has been calling out Tank since he was 22, but he won't call out Lopez, and everyone is like "Lopez is still green!" Also, if Loma will go to 130 for Tank, who is with PBC, why not go down to 130 for Berchelt, who is co-promoted by Top Rank?
Also, other than myself and a couple other posters, I’ve seen ZERO people even bring up the idea of Loma/Berchelt.
And Lopez is still green lol. Hopefully he fights someone with more of a pulse on the 4/20 cardComment
