It would be really too bad if Loma never fights Mikey Garcia. It would be a classic.

Good post. Green K.Loma wants to actually challenge himself. Loma fans want him to take on the best.
Lopez is an exciting prospect.
Loma is chasing greatness. You don't achieve greatness by taking on exciting prospects.
Beating Davis is a much better achievement than beating Lopez, it is as simple as that.
Loma doesn't run from challenges - he runs towards them. If he isn't interested in a fight, it is probably because he doesn't rate the fighter. It isn't a sign that the fighter is too scary, it is a sign that they aren't scary enough.
I expect that Lopez will make himself more viable within the next year or so. I hope he does. He needs to step up and actually beat someone with a pulse first though.Comment

Loma doesn't really wanna acknowledge Lopez that much, yet. He sees him as someone he can fight later. If not, not. He's not gonna chase him. Name fighters usually don't do that. It's a fighter politic/strategy.
Whereas Loma sees and real fans see that Davis isn't a guaranteed win for him. (I think Davis looks scary in the ring and how he quickly dismantles his opponents, and he's only getting better.) I like how Loma is talking now, thank you. He likes the challenge. I think he's reading my posts here!
Loma is at his best at 130. He'll never be a great lightweight, never, even if he wins all the belts. He's just too undersized at that weight for maximum performance. He should go down to 130 and stay there if he can get Davis before Davis moves to 135. Or, Loma can fight in both weights, simultaneously. (135 only for big money fights.)
Loma, keep the Davis conversation going!Comment

GTFOH casual, Salido beat Loma fair and square, this coming from me, whose favorite boxer is Loma Pound X Pound No. 1, but the reality is he lost to Salido. PERIOD!Stop telling blsht about Salido. He clearly lost even being punching Loma's balls all night long, ballpuncher and wrestler- it was not boxing, it was judo and lowblowing.. and nevertheless he got in standing knockdown at final rounds after straight left hand.. old bum salido got this win only because of corrupted judges and Loma's first fights in Pro boxing.. This is clear fact even for idiots..Comment
