doing a espn/showtime co promotion ppv. The article u show is when it was revealed by Wilder that he is not tied down by showtime.

Here what Arum said since he signed Fury 1.Fury will have interim fight before a rematch 2. they will not held WBC order or purse bid 3. he wants both Wilder and Fury to fight on ESPN + (different than ESPN PPV)

Arum doesn’t want showtime to be involved he doesn't like Espinoza or showtime and I doubt he will ever work with them if he doesn't get Wilder on ESPN+ I'm sure he will try for AJ assuming he is not on long term with DAZN

No the thread is "the tremendous offer" Arum sending wilder is for a multifight deal which is true Arum saying he is willing to negotiate a one fight deal is irrelevant since that is not what is being sent over

It doesn't benefit Fury or Wilder at this point. Fury escapes with the moral victory and keeps his 0. Wilder keeps his 0 as well and the next Fury fight is probably gonna be much harder for him.

They could both agree to fight two tune-ups which further builds their names and then fight each other down the line, 0's intact. It makes too much business sense to not make them fight right away. Sad but true. Fury will fight a black American (rank doesn't matter) so they can show that off on American TV. Wilder will fight whoever (again, rank doesn't matter).

Interesting take. I don't think having PickANumber and Oh records matters much on the interest front. Both of these guys are established and everyone knows they are top of the food chain. Even if they both had a loss or two from early in their careers and still ended up where they are now, the interest wouldn't be any lower. If you're stressing no losses happening in between a potential rematch, I hear you.

ESPN will go crazy if Wilder signs and they get to air a tune up fight of his as well as Fury before their rematch this fall on PPV. The average sports fan will end up knowing A LOT more about those two than they did previously. Every basketball, baseball, and football game will show promos for those fights and they'll have the commentators of those games making predictions. Probably even have Deontay or Tyson on the headsets for a portion of some games. The fight definitely won't lack hype. This is all if Wilder plays ball. If ESPN and Arum do not offer something close to whatever Deontay is looking for and he doesn't sign, where do they go for competitive fights for Fury in the near future?

All in all, it hasn't been that long ago since they fought (DEC 1). We all thought/expected that competitive spirit alone would motivate them to set a rematch date for this spring within days after the Draw that they fought to but business sense intervened. If one or both of them have one tune-up/stay busy fight and a rematch takes place less than one year from the first bout, I can't complain. Wish it was sooner but I understand.
