Arum isn't sending Wilder a contract to fight Fury....

I know spence said that but he is a free agent, let ESPN or Arum send Spence a contract like he did with Danny Garcia. Remember how they put out that Garcia was offered 3m dollars? They should do that with Spence and release how much he was offered, if spence turn it down then we can talk.Comment

He lost that fight, let's be honest, and he will be quite happy that this development has given him a way out of risking his 0 in a fight where he 'd be underdog.Comment

This wouldn't surprise me knowing how Arum operates. He'll give you x million to fight whoever, but he'll give you x million + if you sign with him for the same fight with further options.
Its like a up front bait n switch lol. And fans are ignorant of it cuz they don't see the lowball offer for the fight people wanna see so it sounds like the fighter is ducking cuz he's not taking one of the two offers for the same opponent despite the money not making sense for either option usual cuz Arum is on those 360 deals for some guys too.
Arum's an old record playing the same song. Boxing will be better when Todd is running TR 100%.Comment

The promoters and networks are playing with fire.
If one of them gets beaten then the big fights aren't as big.
With both Wilder and Fury it comes down to their major flaws.
Fury can be knocked out. A lot of fighters are durable enough to go 12 rounds with him. Just takes one big shot. Even a lucky punch.
Wilder is very beatable on points. Any decent heavyweight can outbox him. It just comes down to whether they can avoid that one big shot he has in him.
Unless they're fighting the real dregs of the division, in which case their reputations will take a knock, they're taking a big gamble.Comment

He's sending him a ESPN/Top Rank contract. He wants them both to have interim fights ESPN Plus before they have a rematch.
Wilder has said he has no problem fighting Fury on ESPN. Fury didn't have to sign a network/promoter deal for their first fight. Wilder shouldn't have to sign a network/promoter deal for this rematch.
Arum claims Haymon won't let his fighters fight outside the PBC networks. But here's Wilder willing to fight outside the PBC networks and now Arum is moving the goal posts by making Wilder sign a network/TR deal.
Wilder is willing to fight him on ESPN so Arum needs to make the fight without all the extra barriers. He's trying to strong arm the fight from the fans for the sole benefit of his company.
Furthermore, he is attempting to drive a wedge between Deontay Wilder, The PBC and Showtime. If Arum really wanted this fight then why did he pull out of the WBC's purse bid? That would have been the easiest route to get Wilder to fight on ESPN in the first place had he won the bidding rights to the fight.
However as you so eloquently stated. He is tampering with Haymon. He wants an exclusive Deontay Wilder contract on ESPN.Comment
