I didn't say I knew the deal. I know Arum from his past dealings doe & thats his standard line. Maybe he's doing something different this time, but I'd bet against it & win more bets than I'd lose.
Has zero to do with Wilder if you've seen my posting history about Arum. Been calling him a bean counter or low baller or other similar terms for years. Thats his promoting angle or speciality I guess I'd even go so far to say. And its worked for him to keep TR winning for decades. Fair play to him, but that style doesn't produce many across promotional boundary fights & thats why all the biggest fights for the biggest TR names came outside of TR. That ain't no accident. Thats cuz Arum doesn't part with a penny unless he's 1000% sure he can make a penny & a half back. And like I said its worked for him, but its not the style of promotion risk taking that makes big fights happen.
And Joshua seems to be the main catalyst behind Hearn's lowballing offers. But I also suspect he's not as bankrolled as rumored also at least with his DAZN money.
Funny how Arum and Hearn both turn into lowballing, double dealing snakes when either of them starts trying to negotiate a fight with Wilder innit.
