Tbh, Zurdo was calling out Kovalev before Alvarez took the first strap. Now that Top Rank and Duva both co-promote Kovalev, with recent news we could see the WBO listings that Zurdo “vacated.”

I think this is all fake news and damage control for Top Rank and WBO as well as Warren with BJS. Zurdo knows exactly what’s going on and was only told to say this. Zurdo knows he is promised a title shot with Kovalev. Kovalev vs Ramirez is a good selling fight. I don’t believe in this fake news.
