Does anyone know on what basis would WBC be entitled to order anything here? Be it the fight or the split? Fury is not mandatory, that was a voluntary defence, why do they interfere? If they choose to go their separate ways, does this mean WBC will strip Wilder and pit Breazele vs Whyte to fight for it? What's going on?

This is coming from the king of in-house fight cards

Sounds positive though .... hopefully they get this fight signed . Will probably be a two fight deal I guess so Arum can get a good wedge of his money back
“If promoters can't work together to present the best fights, then shame on the promoters."

What he actually means there is if other promoters won't allow their fighters to agree to what ever terms I dictate and have them fight on ESPN, then shame on them.

He wants all promoters to have their fighters fight on his network while none of his fighters fight outside of ESPN. GB and HBO made Loma and Arum a better offer with more money to fight Linares on HBO after fighting over a date, Arum said he NO which pretty much forced Linares to accept Arums deal. Arum expects all the top fighters to come over to him, but he would never work with another promoter or network to send one of his top fighters over.

Definitely not falling for it. They could offer Wilder a good payday then want options on his next three fights. If they are offering him a good payday as the WBC champion in line with the WBC 60/40 purse bid then great.

I'm sure the money this deal is worth is great, but it has to kill Warren a bit on the inside that he's just a pawn in the big picture.
Warren only cares about the money. He will be getting a significant cut of Fury's purses over the next 5 fights, without any of the financial risk.

Considering that he made a loss on Fury's first 2 fights, he will be delighted by the new circumstances.

Totally agree, all we need to do is look at Arum's past to confirm this.

Scumbag bob at his weaseling best. He’s going to do the same thing with fury as he’s doing for Crawford and did for Pacquiao....years of in house fights... he’s still the poster child for boxing’s corruption
