Logical given Commeys injury if he wants to keep the belts. Not much of a contest but all things considered not bad given he won FOTY 2017, moves up KO’d Linares for the #1 spot, unified a title in his next fight after injury was set to do the same but opponent got injured so mandatory is taken 3 months early. Crolla isn’t terrible too. He’s won a couple of good fights since losing to Linares.

OF COURSE on ESPN kinda LAUGHABLE that you had people thinking that somehow Loma would go on DAZN

Anyway, SH#T match up and Crolla is completely UNWORTHY of a Shot at one of the best P4P but don't blame Loma, blame the WBA Once again these Belt Organization because they choose to Auction off Ranking Positions to the highest bidders, we get stuck with Mismatches claiming to be a "Mandatory's"

Loma would destroy Crolla Blind Folded and with One Arm Tied behind his Back!

No, because that clown is only a PBC nutthugger so this one will be some conspiracy about Top Rank.

I'm curious to see if Hearn worked out anything else to allow this deal to get done without going to purse bid and being on an ESPN card in the US. Maybe some other Matchroom fighters getting good shots on that card, a couple TR guys coming to Dazn cards, Luke Campbell getting a shot at Loma if he gets the WBC belt?

Since when is it a bad thing when a champion fights the number 1 contender. Check the rankings. Clolla is the number 1 contender for Loma's title.

Comments Thread For: Lomachenko-Crolla Set For April 12 In Los Angeles, Avoid Purse Bid

Vasiliy Lomachenko officially has an opponent for an April 12 date he and Top Rank were determined to keep. Ukraine's two-time Olympic Gold medalist and three-division titlist in the pro ranks will make the second defense of at least one lightweight title versus England's Anthony Crolla.

Mandatory out the way then unify the third belt in the summer. I can live with that. Hopefully by the years end the WBC situation is cleared up or Lopez can get some wins under his belt so that Loma can have a really big fight.
