Everything has changed fury is tied to a network now. Fury and wilder was ready to go then this huge road block was put up. I could see if they weren’t negotiating then this happens.they almost had the fight made then they pull this.

They knew what they was doing.

But Wilder isn't signed to a network. They can still fight. Why does everything have to be on Wilders terms?

Wilder also wasn't signed to Showtime during the AJ negotiations but he kept saying he won't fight on DAZN.

Wilder will use the exact same excuse to duck Fury.

There’s nothing that can be done to convince these UK posters that Wilder isn’t ducking

These same guys also never admit AJ and now Fury aligned with different Platforms the #1 reason fights seem impossible to make. when they both had a clear path to Wilder and was the fight fans expected and wanted to see them fight next

But yes Wilders ducking both of them

You can’t make this sh.it up how dumb people look by them not even accepting that as a reason the fights aren’t happening

This will come down to Haymon. Even Wilder's own manager admitting Wilder doesn't have a contract with Showtime. Admitting to something that has been reported many times now. So he has NO CONTRACT preventing him, he will make MORE money fighting on ESPN then he would of fighting on Showtime PPV for the simple fact that ESPN can push the fight and promote the fight more on their platforms which will translate to more PPV buys. Sounds like a no brainer right? But we all know this fight ain't happening because Haymon has a relationship with Showtime and now FOX and he will never want to send his arguably most attractive asset to a rival network.

So if he hasn't nothing preventing him legally, and he agrees to the same contract terms they have already negotiated just switching the networks he stands to make more money then he would of in the original rematch offer with Showtime. if he doesn't take the fight it's because Haymon prevents it more then Wilder ducking Fury.

Fury has a right to pursue the most money possible, not matter what.

That being said, if the rematch doesn't occur it will be Fury's fault for making negotiations immensely more difficult by switching networks. Right or wrong Haymon, Showtime and Fox have a lot invested in Wilder. He won't be able to fight on ESPN unless they break the bank...
