Fair play Khan gets a pay day out of it but even as a Khan fan I know he’s not relevant on this kind of stage.

As a boxing fan and genuine dyed in the wool sports fan I know $5 million would have gotten us a viable threat Crawford.

No real feeling to Crawford prior to this match being made.

But I’ll like want the other guy to beat him from now on.

Really it’s not even his fault though. His 4,000 year old promoter is an arsehole
I’m not arguing that this isnt a foregone conclusion but I think it’s more a case of an easy win against a “big name” than exploiting racism and hoping the fight sells in house and ppv purely so people can see a ****** get a beatdown. It’s a no risk fight against a household name, at one point after the Alexander win khan was regarded as a legitimate challenge for mayweather or Pacquiao and was highly regarded by a lot of US journalists. His stock has dropped a lot since then but it’s not the worst name to have on your CV.
Maybe I’m naive or just like to look for the best in people, I think trump is an a55hole but he won that election because Hilary is a tw4t. I don’t believe the majority of folks over there are racist.

We live in strange era. One unbeaten ww champ fights 130 -135 fighter, the other one fights no hoper.

        Disgusting.

Very bad grammar. It's not " don't got a chance", it's "doesn't have any chance whatsoever in any dimension or reality".

Bomac telling it like it's going to be but not good fight promotion. Unless he thinks that lots of people want to see Khan krushed which does have some appeal, ummmm, make that lots of appeal.

I bet they pulled him to the side afterwards and told him he’s supposed to be selling this fight like khan actually has a chance to win.

I think they made this fight to give Bud a chance to get more comfortable in this weight class against an opponent with a name, and not much of a chance to win.

                  I dunno man.

                  It's a lot of dough.

Lay out the ******. USA USA USA.

It's just the quantity of money involved and the fact they'll put it on PPV. I do think it's weird.

When you are paying 1 guy that amount of money albeit a faded name and nobody thinks they can win you've got to look for an angle. And in boxing it's usually something a bit unsavoury.

                  Tbh pays Khan's pension.

It is a fight that genuinely annoys me though. Call me cynical.

If anything can happen in boxing which actually it usually doesn't. This fight would be good one for anything to happen.

But really. $5 mill? And they come up with Khan.

                  It's a genuine wtf fight.

Even if the race isn't an angle it's still a horrific pure value for money match up.

Khan looked terrible in his last fight and now he thinks he has a chance against Crawford.
                    I agree with BMac.
                    Khan doesn't stand a chance.
I will be surprised if he's in their longer than Horn.
                    Bud K/O after 5.

"Khan's four career defeats have not come at the welterweight limit. He tasted defeat at lightweight, twice at junior welterweight and once at a catch-weight of 155 with the much larger Canelo Alvarez."

Thats interesting, this will be Khans first time getting KTFO at 147. Khan might have the record for most weight classes getting knocked out in for a champion.

Hearns only has stoppages in 3 different weight classes (cruiser, middleweight and welter). Khan is tied with that right now.
