Comments Thread For: Anthony Joshua's Interminable Patience Will Pay Off in The End

By Michael Rosenthal - Anthony Joshua had to fight someone somewhere. Jarrell Miller in New York City wasn't a bad choice. Joshua undoubtedly has felt neglected over the past year or more. The holder of multiple heavyweight titles was unable to lure either Deontay Wilder or Tyson Fury into the ring and t...

Agree entirely and when this happens I don't want a single one of these Wilder haters jumping bandwagon and I will mercilessly troll them if they try to

its pitiful when this sites writers resort to biasedly revisionist history tales,Micheal Rosenthal should leave it to the fans to engage in such pitiful nonsense as these gems:

"The holder of multiple heavyweight titles was unable to lure either Deontay Wilder or Tyson Fury into the ring and then could only watch"
or "Good news for him: He will have his day. He will sometime soon fight either Wilder or Fury in his first superfight since he knocked out Wladimir Klitschko in 2017 and he’ll win that fight to remove any doubt that he is the rightful king of the sport’s traditional glamour division. Patience."

Does anyone else remember when AJ intentionally lowballed then ducked the 50 mil offer he promised would be enough by saying he "didn't want his fans to have to fly out to see him",then he signed to fight baby huey in NY despite turning down Vegas for Wilder".(fanbois you know AJ/Hearn even admitted "the offer was legit")

Saying Joshua will beat both makes this writer sound like an a$$hole.

Fanboy article, poor work. I usually expect better from Rosenthal.

No contract, no fight. Rumours abound that he would have been required to break media contracts to earn that 50M. No need to get all excited.

Fighting Miller for US profile is completely different to fighting the biggest fight of an era. No need to get all excited.

This stuff is pretty easy to understand if you can avoid looking for things that aren't there. No need to get all excited.

Can't you see that AJ/Hearns plan from day 1 was to bs their way through fake negotiations so they can duck for the next yr & a half using the "mandos are due" excuses?

Funny how AJ wasn't even interested in sitting ringside for Wilder/Fury & went on media blackout because Hearn told him to stop spilling the beans, but as soon as he heard Wilder say he "guaranteed going to rematch Fury" & as soon as Wilder refused to waste his time again,he suddenly went all tom cruise jumping on couches & sht screaming"I want to fight Wilder now",

suddenly AJ wasn't laying low in the shadows he was everywhere calling for Wilder(what a coincidence that he didn't do that when Wilder even offered to fight for a lowball offer hmmm)

And yes Fury schooling Wilder for 3/4 the fight surely influenced it also.
