will the top rank fanboys demand lopez step up and take an easy to make in house fight against loma? or will he be too young and too green in ways that gervonta davis could never be?

by my accounts lopez should be ready for this by summer-late 2020

when arum says that hes not ready to make that fight and the timing isn't right just yet will you support him or hate on him the way you guys do to davis?

lets be honest...theres a certain group of people that want davis to fight loma right now or even last year because they feel strongly davis would lose and they think its like beating Floyd by proxy....but when they get realistic for that one second they know it doesn't make sense for davis right now

with lopez I get the feeling they'll say something like "by 2020 lopez will be too big to fight loma" or something like that

its only when theirs guys wont fight they will make excuses......"oh that guy is too big for him" or whatever....but Floyd was a poos when he wouldn't entertain a fight with lil g.....and of course canelo was a poos too when he waited till he was like goddamn 27 to face a p4p rated unbeaten MW champ....even though he still fought him twice

Can't speak for all Loma fans, but as his countryman who has followed him since the amateurs there is not a fighter 135 and south of it that I wouldn't want to see him in with.

I think he is the best and I don't care if its now or in 2 years that anyone wants to fight him.

I guess tank still won't be 'ready' in 2020 if we're lining up 12 fight prospects in advance. I get the in house dynamic to the situation, but are we now just excusing fights never happening cuz the fighters have different promoters? from now until that time, people will still be calling for loma vs tank. if you're concerned with the hate tank has been getting, just wait until lopez steps up to the plate first with less than 20 fights.

Yeah most people will say make the fight.

If a fighter says they're better than some one or consitently says they don't rate someone around their weight who is largely considered better then they should expect to be called to fight them.

What about Lopez / Davis / and Haney fighting each other as well? The winner of any combination of those fights becomes the top contender at 135 for Lom or Commey.

I'll say wait until it unfolds. My guess is that if Lopez gets the WBC belt and wants the fight it will happen no problem. I don't think Loma is at the point where Top Rank are cashing him out so he's their guy so I think they'll want what he wants which is undisputed.

I'm not sure that Top Rank really has fanboys in the manner that PBC does. I see a lot of new Lopez fans claiming he's getting ducked by Loma and then he'll break Loma and I see Loma fans thinking he'll school the kid. I've seen logical people say he's not ready for Loma but if it happens it happens. I just hope if it does happen the people who swear Lopez wins will give credit and not lie after the fight and that they'll still support Lopez but my guess is that it will be a no on both counts.

id say there as many TR fanboys are there are pbc fanboys...for every one there is probably one on the other side...the factions are at war constantly....some might not even realize they are TR fanboys but they hate pbc and haymon so much(mostly prolly cause of association with floyd) they find themselves saying things like "yeah well crawford cant get no fights cause haymon wont let his guys fight crawford..and hell he wont even let his guys fight each other...they make terrible fights"....when haymon has made plenty of good WW fights and is about to put two unbeaten p4p guys against each other there...and still has plenty of time to make more good fights......i swear i see this every time someone mentions crawfords lack of good fights or potential fights...guys get all defensive and attack haymons WW stable when hes put danny, thurman and porter all in with each other....and hes putting mikey/spence on...and he can still do some real good fights down the road
